Bathroom sink would not drain. White towels looked dirty, stained. Ice machine did not work. Breakfast was ok- completely out of coffee creamer 2 hours into breakfast. Staff was friendly and helpful. Very convenient for out one night stay. Quiet.

The entire staff was extremely accommodating during my stay. As a frequent business traveler, conducting business in the area, I have frequented most of the local lodging in the area. Unlike the other hotels in the vicinity, the absolute standout was the staff - whether it was young lady at the front desk, the housekeeping staff, or even the owner, I was pleasantly surprised at how cordial and friendly everyone was. Sure, it’s an older building. And AS EXPECTED, it’s not going to be perfect. But what it IS is safe, clean, friendly accommodations, provided at a very reasonable price. I was approached by the housekeeping staff each day, to see if I wanted fresh linens or a quick touch up in my room. Beverages were made available throughout the day, and on into the night. The breakfast was perfectly acceptable, with a wide variety of choices. And, again, I cannot express enough just how refreshing it was to have an entire staff greet me with a smile and kind words each time I exited my room or entered back into the building. I spoke with the owner, this morning, as I was checking out. I made sure to compliment her on the peaceful and professional experience that I encountered during my stay, assuring her that I would most certainly be returning. This is NOT the W, the Four Seasons, or the Ritz Carlton. But WHAT IT IS is a clean, friendly, safe hotel, designed for overnight stays by families and business travelers. They are doing a wonderful job providing great service.

We really enjoyed the hot tub suite. My only concern was it was a hard to use the TV remote we couldn’t find any channels but two.

Lot was not plowed. Room was still under construction and not finished. Tub had white film that had to be cleaned before use. Towels were not white, matching or folded neatly. The flooring was clean and felt like it was Kaye’s over uneven carpet

My family was in town for my grandmother's funeral. We were hoping for a decent low-cost place to stay a couple nights.We weren't expecting our son to be coming with but he did. So we wanted to switch to a double queen room. They upcharged $10 a night for that. The first room they sent us to the electronic card reader didn't work, so the door could just be pushed open. There wasn't a TV or desk chair. The box from the TV stand and a flashlight were still sitting there. We complained, so they moved us to the adjacent room. In that room the coffee maker and hair dryer didn't work, and the toilet was clogged/filthy. We had to leave so I mentioned to the front desk lady about the toilet. She offered move us yet again to the 1st floor, but I declined because I didn't want to have to move all our stuff again. I asked that it be unclogged while we were gone. When we came back, there was a plunger in our bathroom and the toilet was still semi-clogged. We just dealt with it. Outside, it had snowed multiple times that week yet nobody had plowed the parking lot or shoveled the side entrance sidewalk, so there were inches of snow to drive and walk through. Also, the card reader on the side of the building wasn't even on, so anyone could have walked in that door. With having to deal with a funeral, we did not need added stress but that's what staying at this place did. I had stayed there before when it was under a different brand and it was not nearly as bad. I will NOT be back there!

Staff was very nice and courteous on arrival. Overall everything was nice and clean. A few things like the shower was a bit outdated, but functioned normally and was still clean. Our electronic lock didn't work at first but when notified, the staff fixed it right away without issue. Easy access to I-80. Short visit was more than adequate and would stay here again without worry.

Nice option right off the turnpike. Rooms have been nicely redone (except the bathroom appeared to have been painted in a hurry). Breakfast looked very good - lots of options. Comfortable bed. Very clean & quiet. Couldn't get the TV to work, but it was late anyway, so I didn't bother calling front desk.

Spacious room, pleasant service, good location close to I-69 & I-80. Clean in general. Our only concern was that the towels, while clean, were a rather dingy off-white & thin.

Don’t read the reviews, they lie.
I booked this before reading the reviews. When I read the reviews I was expecting a regretful experience. I was happy to be wrong. The place was clean, comfortable, quiet and updated. The breakfast offered plenty of options. And the staff was very helpful. I can only believe that the bad reviews were an attempt to put these poor people out of business because they were complete lies. I would definitely stay here again.

It was a good place. Try to get an even numbered room as the odd numbered rooms face the parking lot and the curtains don't block out enough light.

NOT the best Western!
The overall comfort and warmth of the room was very good. However, when we pulled up to the front entrance, piles of carpet and padding lined the sidewalk along the entire front of the building. It looked ghetto-ish and trashy. We were greeted and given two cards to enter our room, but neither gave us entrance to it. We were on the sixth floor and had to return via elevator to the main lobby to have them reprogrammed. Back in the room, we could not get the heat to turn on and needed to call the front desk. The phonejack was not plugged into the wall. In fact, there was no phone jack outlet in the wall for plug in…therefore no phone service! Again, back down to the main lobby… Comfort was very good…breakfast was very good…desk personnel were very helpful, friendly and accommodating. We just felt we did not get what we thought we were paying for…Disappointing!

Property was under renovation with garbage strewn outside. It was not clean. Staff unfriendly. Breakfast was sparse and terrible. Stale. Bed was comfortable but room was not very nice even though it appeared updated. Renovation seemed bare bones “lipstick on a pig” type. Wouldn’t bring my family here for sure and wouldn’t stay here solo again.

Thinks twice before staying here
We got 3 different rooms. 1st room the heat didn’t work it only blew out cold air. Room 2 the bedding looked yellow and stains on the bedding, the bathroom walls had water leaks and we seen something that resembled a bed bug crawl out from the bathroom wall. Room 3 we went to use the bathroom and there was another guests hair on the toilet seat. We complained to front desk and left because that was 3 different rooms with 3 different problems. We will not be staying here ever again.

sorry to hear that but heater working every room and second room was every think was fine there is no bed bug on any room and the person make reservation online on expedia so hotel not allowed to do refund on 2.00 am on Moring if guest stay or not hotel has right to charge sorry.

The first room we checked into the bathroom door was off the hinges and hidden behind the bedroom door, it fell on me when i moved the bedroom door. The second room had a big hole in one side of the bedroom door and a huge break on the other. The front desk knew about the 2nd rooms condition and who knows how long the doors been busted. The first room was much nicer, overall I wouldn't stay again

Very adequate but needs help!
Front desk person was very nice and our bed was comfortable but the towels were stained and the breakfast was typical fare but not great. It just needs some updating and attention to details.

The lady at the front desk was very sweet and we were very late arriving. The bed we had was the worst bed I have ever slept in. The middle of it was concave and I have had better sleep on an air mattress. I am not sure how it got more than 2 stars. Never again would I stay here.

It sounds like a step up and the price reflects it. It’s a run down very old hotel. I had lights that didn’t work, unpainted wall patches, doors with no knobs….. it was actually kinda creepy. Breakfast sucked. I won’t return.
