Good Pleasant Hotel

Posted Mar 30, 2015
Pros: Restaurant on site was helpful even though I did not eat there. Staff was friendly & helpful.
Cons: As stated above earlier pool opening and an in room refrigerator would be a plus.
Location: Great area to visit. We have a three season vacation home nearby. I'd recommend Pokagon State Park, Clay's restaurant and Chubby's nearby.
A good place to stay with a couple of minor flaws. The heater was a bit loud and a small refrigerator in the room would be a plus. Also longer hours of operation for the pool would have been helpful. The pool doesn't open until 8am which can be an inconvenience if you need to get an early start to your day. The room was comfortable and staff were very friendly and helpful.

Ok hotel close to university

Posted Feb 23, 2015
Hotel amnetities listed as available were not available. Family of 5 needing handicap bathroom and was not told until after check in that handicap is only available in single rooms. Kids birthday party was being held in the afternoon by the pool. Guests were entering the hotel from numerous entrances and at one point there were an extra 23 people in the pool that were non registered guests. Another birthday party was held that evening. Could not enjoy pool time.

Thanks for staying at our hotel. We apologize for the issues at the pool and the handicap room information or assumptions that was provided to you online prior to arrival. We work hard everyday to get better and better.

Great location

The hotel is older, but it is clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpfu. We went for the pool which was nice and the proximity to the tobaggin run and the outlet mall. It was perfect for this occasion.

Bathroom killed it for me.

Posted Dec 29, 2014
Pros: Front desk staff were really friendly and the breakfast was pretty sweet.
Cons: Take care of the bathrooms and keep aloof maintenance people out of view of guests.
Booked a room here on my way to Minnesota and was happy with the rate. Sadly, the bathroom was pretty awful. The sink drain was stuck closed, the shower fluctuated between warm and cold every minute or two, and there were mold spots on the door frame and ceiling. The rest of the room was fine and the bed was actually quite comfortable. Informed the desk clerk at checkout that the drain wasn't working and they should probably get someone to fix that and he turned to the guy behind him who was dressed like a maintenance person, and the guy just blankly stared at the clerk when he told him about it. He seriously had zero reaction for about 30 seconds, then mumbled something about someone else who was coming in later that day. Can you at least pretend to give a crap for a few seconds?

No problem. I will kick the guy in the maintenance uniform in the "but" so he cares. No pretending here, they really do care.
