Pros: Good view of lake.
Cons: Needs a thorough renovation.
Location: The lake is across the street. Not sure if free access.
Good view of lake. Very old establishment with haphazard looking repairs. Overpriced. Looked at free breakfast and decided to go to another restaurant.

conveniently located, quiet, nice view of Flathead

Location: golf at Polson is great
its an older facility that is a bit "tired", but nice and clean and quiet. Rate is high for the age of the motel.

Loved the View

Posted Aug 11, 2014
Pros: Within walking distance to the car show, lake, the view & places to eat.
Cons: The continental breakfast and clerks that are pleasant.
Location: Polson, Montana. Things are listed above.
The female clerk that checked me in was great, the other female sitting down was rude when I asked about the price & no AARP discount. She snapped & said, I TOOK THAT RESERVATION & I GAVE YOU THAT DISCOUNT!!! I wanted to say, it doesn't look like I got the senior discount but didn't want to start my weekend away fighting with someone. She did not take my reservation, I made it through Expedia........she needs a new job somewhere else that does not involve guests or anything to do with people! If you can't post a guests true feelings about their stay, why bother having this site? Hopefully you will not view this as an insult but just as a true statement.

Great stopover to explore the rest of Flathead Lak

Posted Aug 9, 2014
Pros: The view. The Decor - thoroughly individual.
Location: Great for the museum of Americana up the street and all the activities on the lake.
Everything really well sorted. Fabulous view over the lake. We did have a little plague of lake midges which must come with the territory, I suppose!

Disappointed. Picture of room wasn't one we got for the advertised special. Our room didn't have a window.

Older motel on Flathead Lake

Pros: The VIEW
The motel is a bit dated; however the view from our room was spectacular. We will go out of our way to stay there again.

Musty smelling room

Posted Jun 24, 2014
Pros: Nice view of the lake
Cons: A total remodel is needed
Location: Very nice hotel right across the road!
Room was clean but cold. Room smelled musty. Sheets were scratchy. Room was very small; barely room to walk around the bed. Noisy from the continuous stream of traffic right outside the door.

12 Day Stay

Posted May 21, 2014 on Hotels.com
I needed a decent, inexpensive place for about two weeks and this place worked. The view of Flathead Lake was beautiful. The housekeeping staff seemed apprehensive about coming in/knocking to see if anything was needed while we were in the room. It was not always possible for us to be out of the room in time for them to come in, so they avoided the room on some of the days. The kitchenette we were in did not have a microwave, but we were able to use the one in the breakfast area. The breakfast is pretty basic - toast/bagels, oatmeal, donuts, cereal, OJ, coffee. The room was old, but clean. The room we had did not have any sort of couch or comfy chairs. It had three chairs that were flimsy, which was disappointing because we had to spend a lot of time in the room. If I have the need for another extended stay I would stay again. There is a casino in the hotel across the street that was fun - not really big, maybe 100-150 different slot machines. I think a car is needed as most things would be quite a walk.
