Awful, all the way around

Let's see, where to start... There was a trash can catching water right in front of the entrance that also had wet trash in it, there was a full ash tray including empty coffee cups, empty cigarette packs and was overflowing right at the entrance, the walls were completely dinged up with marks, tv remote didn't work, no hot water for a shower, when I arrived to check in I had to wake someone up and they asked from the hall in their pajamas "what, checking in?" at 1030(not that late), the lock on my door was broken, and that was all just the things that were off the top of my head. Do not stay here.

This hotel would be perfect for a working/traveling person. Rooms were spacious but cable box was stolen, floors weren't vacuumed, toilet ran all night, hotel,only offered a dozen doughnuts along with one container of coffee. Desk personnel weren't always available no matter what time of day or night. If you aren't use to the train noise, it would keep you awake. But location was good for getting around the city. Don't expect a 5 star hotel,stay here. You get what you pay for. But this was better than not having a place to stay on such short notice. This was the only available hotel for our time there.

Overall-This hotel is a good place to sleep. Close to downtown area that closes up at 6:00 except for the wine bar on Grand Ave. Good deal for the price.

Blood stained carpets

As soon as we walked onto the second floor we noticed a trail of a blood stain down the hallway and the room was not any better. We decided to walk out and leave as soon as we walked in. I would not recommend this hotel.

not a good choice

Requested a smoking room,the girl checking us in acted like she didn't understand what I was saying,the smell of the hotel was horrid,soon as you walked in the lobby it hit you in the face,bad.it was almost 100 degrees outside and the hotel was like a sauna,got to our room it was no cooler,no ashtray,nasty smell.we changed clothes for the wedding we were attending,went to wedding went back to hotel,got our belongings and left,I wasted a free night,plus almost 10 dollars on this place.i will pay more next time for a name brand hotel and hope for better accommodations.
