Recommended: Hotel was very well located near Piazza Erbe. Hotel was very pleasant and staff were friendly and helpful. Sent us to a good restaurant a 5 minute walk away called Greppia which we really enjoyed as staff was cordial and food was very good as was wine list. See all reviews for this hotel

Recommended: Well located hotel but I had read the staff was very helpful. I thought the attitude could have been a bit friendlier. 3 specific comments: Bathrooms are very small. Not that that's a problem just want people to be aware. Parking is a bit expensive (17 Euro) We asked if we could leave our luggage in the room while we did some morning sightseeing. We returned to find our suitcases in the lobby even though we returned well before check out time. Every thing was ok but it was a little disconcerting. See all reviews for this hotel

Not recommended: The Location was good, but the hotel was old and the room very, very small. It needed painting and updating. Two small single beds with absolutely no space to even put luggage or turn-around in. Bathroom was adequate, but no counter for personal products. Staff was not particularly helpful, and downright rude. This was the most expensive hotel during our 3 week trip, and the poorest of all the hotels we stayed in. I would not recommend it at all, unless you wanted to be very close to the Amphitheatre and only wanted a bed to sleep in. See all reviews for this hotel

Recommended: The hotel was tremendous. The rooms were spacious - especially by European standards - and well appointed. Nothing shabby about the hotel at all. great location approximately 1/2 block from Piazza Bra and the arena. We loved Verona and the hotel i definitely somewhere we'd stay again. Recommended: This hotel was very secure, has free secure parking first come, first serve. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was very comfortable. We were very close to the Arena right off the Piazza Bra. Walking distance to all the major tourist sites. Wonderful! See all reviews for this hotel

Recommended: If you are there for one night or two max., you can deal with it but any longer than that forget about it! Location is great and it is a shame that some of the staff is unfriendly while others are not (they must hear many complaints about the rooms and showers). Outstanding breakfasts but still not worth trying to endure the crazy small rooms for more than a day or two. The showers are a must see...they point out and the water comes out the so-called shower doors. You have to have a sense of humor. It is a real shame, this place could be terrific.
