Bad bathroom smellPosted Jul 28, 2013 on Hotels.com
On our tour through Spain & Portugal, this was our least favorite hotel. Although the hotel & room was nice, the bathroom had an awful musty/mildew smell.

Clean, modern & great staff.Posted Jun 25, 2013
Stayed for one night for business. The staff were most welcoming and spoke excellent English. I had dinner in the restaurant which was superb, really recommend the hake! Free wifi voucher given on check in. Would definitely stay here again if I was to visit Vigo.

Excellent stayPosted Jun 4, 2013 on Hotels.com
Wonderful new hotel with large rooms and excellent service. Very clean as well. Some rooms are smoking rooms though. I was given one of those and had to switch the following day because of the smell, but it was no problem for the hotel to do so. The only downside to a non-business traveller like myself is the distance from the centre of town - from stores, restaurants, etc. On the other hand, the room, the price and service is good so I would definitely not hesitate to stay here again. The additional taxi cost is well worth it. I paid E.10 for the breakfast buffet and it is very good. If you prefer strong coffee (espresso) they can get it for you; the same for eggs cooked the way you want. The food selection is varied and is of very good quality, with local specialties included. Check in and check out was quick and the front desk staff are wonderful, especially a lady who I believe is named Patricia. They are used to international travellers and had no problem switching to English, but I chose to communicate in Spanish. I used the laundry service and it was good, the clothes were ready in 24 hours. Overall an excellent experience. Unfortunately it was not the same at another Carris (Porto) I went to following this visit.

Great for a business trip but for vacation too.Posted Jul 9, 2012
Pros: Very new, very modern, everything is clean and nice,
Cons: First day was rainy. The walk to downtown was pretty difficult. Not many eating places around.
Location: Location is in 10-15 minutes walk from downtown. The best, we found, is to go up to next street and walk to the centre.
Very nice, new, modern hotel. Good location. More business oriented. Next to big congress centre. It was easy to find free parking place. Location a little bit far from downtown but still walking distance.
