Very dated and tired hotel needing updating. Dark colors make for a drab feeling. Breakfast hot food trays were empty on both my visits. Staff very good and courteous. Very clean, if dated, room with comfortable bed. Not bad, but would I stay again? No.

The staff are very friendly and eager to help. It’s an out of the way spot so understandably the food is perhaps is not the freshest but you certainly won’t go hungry.

It would have been nice to have a toilet that actually flushed properly. There’s a soda machine on the first floor, and a broken snack machine on the second floor. Overall a far from “quality” experience, but I guess you get what you pay for…

Not exceptional- for the price- but fine
Our room was fine- comfortable enough, and quiet considering its proximity to the highway. Temperature/fan control worked well. Breakfast buffet was a little above average, waffle maker, eggs, hot sausage, and biscuits and gravy, decent coffee. Breakfast room not very well maintained after folks had eaten and left. Downside: elevator is broken!! Beware! Fortunately, we were healthy enough to carry our bags up the staircase. But the stairwell carpeting was VERY shabby/dirty. And doors to the stairwell wide open to anyone walking in… Front desk staff friendly, but not necessarily “on watch” of who was coming in and out. Exterior: needs some major repair to the roof of the covered drive-up entrance (“canopy”?). Kind of torn-up.

My only complaint is the security of the parking lot. Needs more lighting. Kind of creepy, especially as a mom with kids.

Overall room was very average. Foot stool for chair was gross. Huge stains. Bathroom needs remodeling bad. Saw an ant crawling on the nightstand. Turned the water on in the sink and it was brown. No tissues. Refrigerator was barely cool. Would not return. To gross!

I want to give this hotel 5 stars. The staff was great, breakfast was the best we have had at a hotel, but the air quality was poor. The airconditioner was loud and the air stuffy. I'm a fresh air freak, so it is likely that any hotel would not satisfy me. It's camping from now on.

This was simply a sleep stop on a trip through and we found the host to be very accommodating and even had hot coffee and food set out for us before breakfast hours. Much appreciated.
