The room in the pic on the app doesn’t look as it is in person. App it looks modern and spacious. In person it’s not and a bit dated.

No A/C no shower just hose over bath
Terrible place, I've never seen anything worse. For the price charged they should be ashamed. No A/C, no shower just hose over bath. This should be classed as hostel for £30 a night not 3 star for £90 a night.

The room was larger. We had 3 bedrooms, a living room, eating area. There was a separate toilet room and shower room. Our issue is that the air quality was poor as the bulding has a mold problem. My husband is very reactive to mold and I am very sensitive to the smell of mold. We did our best to spend as little time inside the room as possible for our health sake. Opening windows meant being open to the outside as we were on ground level and felt unsafe leaving the room open with our things inside. The exterior window covering were also very dirty, not sure if it was dirt from the streets or mold. The overall space was nice and visually clean. Our only issue was the moldy smell and resultant air quality.

Hotel Ariane is in a great location close to many restaurants and services. We enjoyed the cleanliness of the rooms and the delicious breakfast option.

Typical 3 star hotel I guess. One of the toilets had hair in it when we arrived.Disgusting . The window to one of the bedrooms my kids slept in didnt have a curtain so anyone could look into it. We had to put a blanket over it. The shower would turn cold every minute. Horrible showers. No amenities . Reception guy didn’t show us how to lock the door until I went back and asked . There’s a special way you had to lock it. We were only there 1 night so it was tolerable. Waiter at breakfast was very nice. People were nice. Rooms not so much.

The bedroom has a lot a space 60 m2. The window without any curtain has shutters. You had a shower and a bath tube in the bathroom.So many advantages.

Hotel was clean and receptionist helpful with our bikes. Room ok, but lacking basic things like kettle or shower attachment. Advertised as spa hotel but cost of this was considerable extra, not advertised. Breakfast good though

Shower head was handheld only, no wall attachment. Water pressure was good, though. Attendant at desk spoke little to no English to us, though we spoke little French. No information was provided about wifi or local area. Bed was very hard. Halls were very dark and lights did not always come on. We had extreme difficulty with heat in the room. Breakfast was good. Lovely town businesses a block away - excellent chocolatier.

Close to train station
Unfriendly staff, not welcomed or offered info on town, just handed a key. When asked about no wifi in our room 3 times nothing changed and we were never asked if I wifi improved. We had to stand in hallway or lobby to get any wifi the whole 3 days. We were accused of not staying there on the evening of our second day when we returned from seeing Mont st Michelle by a front desk employee who had been there when we left in the morning.

Good stop over in lovely unspoiled town
We arrived late in the afternoon and were welcomed by the owner, a very nice lady who showed us our room on the ground floor. It was very nice decorated in French manner and all amenities worked well. It was rather crowded in the dining room in the morning but otherwise food was great.

Nice hotel in the centre of Pontorson
Excellent hotel with clean comfortable rooms and very friendly and helpful staff. Bar and restaurant at the hotel are both good. The continental breakfast was fresh and plentiful. The addition of the spa pool is fantastic - a great way to relax after a days sightseeing. Only niggle is lack of coffee making facility in the room.

The hotel was great! Very clean and comfortable. Warning, no elevator though. The only problem was that we'd wanted to leave our luggage at the hotel before checking in, but reception was only open from 3:30-7:30pm! So we missed out on a few hours of sightseeing. Also, parking is scarce, but free (no hotel parking lot, street parking only).

This B&B was in Rick Steves' France book and lived up to Rick's recommendation. Our hosts were very gracious. The room was clean and comfortable.

Perfect for a trip to Mont Saint Michael
This place was great. When they couldn't find our hotels.com reservation for a room for 4, they put us in the newly remodeled guest house for the same price. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the building was kept up inside and out. The location is excellent for a trip to Mont St Michael. The bus leaves from across the street at the train station several times a day. Returning from MSM, the bus to Pontorson only had a few people on it, as compared to the mob trying to get on the shuttle bus to the parking lot.

Pleasant surprise
I didn't know what to expect here, after having more then a few surprises in European hotels, I didn't have high hopes. This hotel was comfortable, clean and modern (only odd thing was the shower, it was just a shower head and a bathtub, and there was no place to stick the shower head, so we were sitting in the tub hosing ourselves down). But here for a one night visit it was fine, we had peace and quiet, a clean room and a comfortable bed

Ideal stopover near station.
We were looking for a hotel near the station as our train arrived in the evening and we wanted to spend the following day at Mont St Michel. We found the hotel easily enough it is just opposite the station. Unhappily there was no dinner served in the hotel and it was difficult to find somewhere to eat in Pontorson. The room was comfortable,modern and clean although curiously the shower was not attached to the wall and as there was no curtain the bathroom floor became extremely wet. The only down side was the bar was a bit dated and in need of renovation.

Lovely hotel, handy for Mont St Michel
Friendly hotel just across the road from Pontorson railway station (not many trains so no problem with noise) - a very handy location if you are visiting Mont St Michel without your own transport as there is a regular, cheap shuttle bus service from the station car park. Décor is modern, stylish and comfortable and there is a bar with a nice little garden. I only stayed one night and didn't take breakfast, but staff were pleasant and helpful and happy to look after my (and other guests') luggage while I was visiting the Mont. Hard to fault.

Our stay was wonderful. Front desk staff was very welcoming. Room was not large, but had our 3 beds and they were very comfortable. We played cards out in the common area at one of the tables. Slept wonderful. Left behind an adapter and it was waiting for us 2 days later when we went by. Lovely warm staff.
