Property has been recently renovated and is okay and our room was clean. They said I reserved a king "smoking room" which was not the case - we are not smokers! Price extremely high even though limited availability in the area - rediculous for what we got. No amenities and office lobby did not open until 8 am - no coffee. If and when we are ever in the area again we will NOT stay at this hotel.

Staff are not the nicest to there guess and always has an attitude. They state no guess after you pay not that I want a guess but advertise that.

It’s not the staff that had attitude. It’s the staff’s duty to let know about the requirements to the guests. That doesn’t mean that staff has attitude. More over you did not paid when you checked in at our hotel. You pre paid your stay prior to check in to Expedia. If you would have paid at hotel then staff would have notified you the requirements prior to your payment or checking in. This doesn’t mean that staff has attitude. This should clear up your doubts.

I recommend this hidden gem in a great town.
This hotel has been home base for my family for more than a decade. The staff really cares about their guests and their property. I love that it is consistent. I always know I’m going to get exactly what I signed up for. The location is convenient to this cute traditional hometown. No need to go to bigger towns, this comfortable room comes at a great price.

Rude regarding service dog being confined to only the assigned because of her highly allergic housekeeping staff. Warning and lecture about taking dog into anyone’s else’s room. Have a service animal but they actually advertise this as pet friendly. Its not. Attendant also made a snide remark about it being almost midnight.

I don’t think I recommend this hotel right now
The pictures listed are not accurate. The rooms are very cramped. You can hardly get into the bathroom without falling into the toilet or tub. Our bathroom door wouldn’t even shut. We had paint chips all over our room. Our sheets and pillows were disgusting! Like yellow and brown with mystery stains terrible. We had to buy our own to use. They only have the one side of the hotel for smoking and pet stay. So everyyyone & their mom was on that side. Including a rodeo group that was up yelling and partying all night long. Oh and they have renovations going so the rooms smell of paint really bad and be prepared to wake up at 7am with loud noises and they will continue until about 7pm. There is no breakfast, no coffee maker in room, and they do charge $20 per night for pets.

Comfortable, almost awesome
Room was comfortable but had to visit front Desk to get hand towels. Would be nice if room had a bedside clock & Kleenex. Need some type of breakfast food in lobby to go with coffee. Staff was friendly & gave good info about local amenities, directions.

They are remodeling so there is a lot of work going on. we stayed in a remodeled room and it was nice but bathroom door would not close all the way. It was good value for one night stay and the people were nice.

This motel is being remodeled and our room had been finished. It was clean and neatly decorated with a microwave and mini-fridge available. There's no in-room coffee maker but the lobby has fresh coffee available. The bed linens were clean and the mattress afforded us a very good, restful sleep. The staff is friendly and very kindly accommodating. We enjoyed our 2-night stay and plan to stay again when in the Pontotoc area. We highly recommend this motel for pleasant, budget-friendly accommodations.

There was an odd odor in the room. The corners had dust/dirt caked up. The rack in The bathroom had a layer of dust on it. There were only two towels. The bathroom door had a hole in it. The security lock was broken. You could tell that it did not have a deep cleaning in a long time. It is need of updating.

Quick weekend trip.
Motel is under construction which is much needed. Quiet rooms. Room was clean but felt like sheets and linen need to be updated. Only complaint was i asked for a non smoking room and this room was obviously smoked in.

Tanglefoot Rails to Trails 1 block away
For a small town motel it was better than expected. The towels were alittle pass there prime. Most everything you need is in walking distance or a very short drive. I stayed there to ride my bike on the Tanglefoot Rail to Trail. I 1 block from the motel

We do not provide in room coffee in any of our room. We have coffee available in lobby till the doors are locked at night. We also carry extra soap & shampoo at our front desk if anyone needs extra. Sorry for the inconvenience.

The lady that checked me in was very friendly and helpful. It’s not the cleanest ever and the rooms are a bit small, but it worked just fine for a group of guys to stay. The breakfast provided is only cereal and milk and orange juice, but if you want more than that the Jacks next door serves really good southern breakfasts.

If your desperate for a room within 30 min of Oxford - this is your place. This was a throwback to the 70's. very outdated , but I kinda expected it. The few rooms in Oxford for a game weekend wanted $1,000 per night.

We came for a football game at Ole Miss. Most places had sold out except this one. It was ok, not fantastic but did what we needed it to do. Tried to get an extra towel but was not possible per manager. Beds not as soft as I like but not horrible. It was just an ok kind of place.

Agree with other reviewer: "Average at best". They have made some obvious rennovations recently with new flooring, paint, bedding. However, the shower head was an "Original Shower Massage" that was probably 15-20 years old. Additionally, the phone was dated. Most people don't use the phone in a hotel anymore but I noticed a significant buildup of grime around the edges. Cleanliness: Overall, the room was clean. However, when I had been walking around the room barefoot in the morning and then got in the damp shower, I left black footprints on the tub. Obviously, the floors had not been CLEANED in a long time. They may have been swept but not cleaned. Customer Service: The motel is on a busy road and when I checked in, I asked if we could have a room on the back side or down the one side that is away from the road. The person working the desk just laughed and ignored the request. The parking lot was less than half full so it wasn't a matter of the motel being full. All in all, it wasn't awful but I wouldn't stay here again.

Okay facilities, the room was fairly clean, not from wall to wall, I wouldn't hire whoever the cleaning person is, we checked out early, so waiting on refund to my method of payment, if I get it, was not given any paperwork to indicate refund, if in that area again I will not stay there, staffers definitely not customer friendly ,sorry
