Adequate for the pricePosted Sep 3, 2014
Older hotel that could use some updates and repairs, but the room was well cleaned and good staff. The extra that they put into breakfast was also a nice surprise over cold cereal and boxed items.

I really liked the lazy boy chair. Nicer than sitting on the bed. I liked the breakfast. The waffles were already made which was nice. Room was ok and seemed clean just old. Would stay here again

Was very dissapointed.Posted Jun 23, 2014
Very dissapointed. Rooms over booked and was put in a handicapped room. Lock was broke so we couldn't leave our things. It would lock when inside.

The lobby was like stepping back to the 80's but service was great and they were very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is newly non-smoking and smelled liked and old ash tray. The bedding appeared to have stains on them. The beds were very hard.
Okay for the MoneyPosted May 17, 2014
Cons: Decent beds and bedding.
We paid around $75 for a 1 bed room. The room and bathroom was clean, free cable, internet and breakfast. The only thing I can complain about is that there no good covers to keep a person warm. I get cold easily and all that was offered were two thin sheets and something rough that felt like a curtain. The bed was hard as a rock! I will not get a room from this place again for that one reason. This is the second motel I've stayed at in Poplar Bluff. The other was $30 cheaper, not as nice, but the bed was much more comfortable!

Not Bad for a Way StationPosted May 14, 2014 on Hotels.com
I was in town for a funeral and needed a room for the night. Clean single, not many amenities (but I wasn't looking for any), and next door to McDonalds - bonus!

Decent at bestPosted Apr 24, 2014 on Hotels.com
Let me start by giving the positives.....Great location and surrounding area. We were close to shopping and the hotel was very easy to find. The complimentary breakfast was far better than we had expected. The hotel staff kept everything stocked and cleaned up around the breakfast area. This particular hotel is truly a "one-nighter" type of place. I can overlook the dated decor of the hotel, I cannot however overlook the hair on the floor and in the shower of the bathroom. The drain in our tub was clogged which led to the water being calf high by the time a shower was done. We discovered that the toilet was clogged upon returning to our room at 10:30 p.m., and the front desk could only loan us a plunger, which my husband worked on the toilet for 30 minutes before finally giving up! The front desk was very apologetic and did offer the one remaining room in the hotel...which was a suite and we were told it would be an additional cost! Am I the only one to see a problem with this picture? Needless to say, after 2 nights dealing with drain issues and 12 hours without a toilet, we were glad to be back on the road! Unfortunately this was my first time to stay at a Super 8.....and I can guarantee it will probably be my last.
