Pros: views, service, SPA
Location: visit Porlezza, lake Como, eat at il Grotto di Lago (Cima)
This is our favorite gateway since many years. convenient location, stunning views, excellent service and great food for every taste. they tick almost every box on our holiday agenda. The staff treats every guest like a personal friend - warm but not even a hint of familiarity. Recommended to every age and cultural background, who loves Italy, especially families with children. They are very dog friendly too.

Very nice hotel on Lago lugano. Stunning view from the suite and friendly staff. Also try La Masseria restaurant for a nice dinner.

Very nice facilities.Posted Aug 22, 2013
Loved it. Very picturesque and excellent staff. Lots to do for the kids. Bit secluded from nearby towns which limits your dining options. Food on sight was very good though.

Loved it!Posted Jul 7, 2013
Pros: Pretty much everything! It was gorgeous with lots to do for everyone.
Cons: Food was a bit pricey and it would be nice if they heated the pool.
Loved this place and didn't want to leave! It had charm and character and was so beautiful. Lots of stuff to do and great staff. I would highly recommend Parco San Marco.

Amazing getawayPosted Jun 22, 2013 on Hotels.com
Lake Lugano is absolutely stunning if you are looking for a quiet, low key getaway. A car is an absolute must though. San Marco is in a brilliant location and is ideal if you are looking for a peaceful break (out of holiday season). We booked a suite so had a bedroom, lounge, kitchen area and a balcony with breath-taking views. Breakfast was amazing, staff very attentive, grass area at back of hotel had hammocks which were a real treat. Food and drinks are expensive at the hotel - no surprise I guess. Would strongly recommend La Taverna in Cima which is only a15 minute walk if you take the track at the back of the hotel. Its a lovely walk to Cima as you have views of the lake all the way.

Very relaxingPosted May 30, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel is extremely well staffed and a nice break from a busy city. It is quiet and comfortable and has so much to offer just within the hotel we barely had to leave. The spa, pools, trails, restaurants were wonderful. We were even upgraded to an apt style rom with a gorgeous terrace overlooking lake lugano. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat. The only suggestion would be softer sheets. Would definitely return again.

Absolutely wonderfulPosted Apr 16, 2013 on Hotels.com
We spent just one night at Parco San Marco, which is not enough time to enjoy everything they have to offer. The service was outstanding from beginning to end, from reception to the restaurant staff. I had informed them in advance that it was my partner's birthday - everyone wished her a happy birthday, and there was both a cupcake waiting in our room on arrival and a bottle of prosecco waiting on our return from dinner - both completely complimentary. The location on the shore of Lake Lugano is perfect, and there is plenty to do on the property for all ages. Highly recommended for both couples and families!

Excellent location, food & outstanding service!Posted Nov 5, 2012
Cons: I honestly cannot think of anything
Location: Amazing & right on lake Lugano with breathtaking views
This has got to be one if the best hotels I have ever stayed in. From the location, the rooms ( we had a top floor suite & the view was breathtaking ), the food, the facilities and most importantly the service. The staff could not do enough for you, even though they were fully booked, nothing was a chore. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone & we will definately be back next year!
