Approximately 60 miles (97 kilometers) away, this regional city is where you can find Alaska Raptor Center, Sitka National Historical Park and Russian-American Building #29. Castle Hill, Sheldon Jackson Museum and St. Michael's Cathedral are some more places worth investigating for those who would like to spend a while longer there.

There are some cool ways to enjoy the great outdoors in and around Port Alexander. Snowmobiling and hiking are two ways active visitors can get their thrills.
