“Gorgeous Eco friendly resort!”

This hotel is a superb place to stay!! It's an adventure and paradise all wrapped up in one. We loved the natural atmosphere and casual vibe of the staff. We cannot wait to come back and bring our other family members. If you want a totally different atmosphere than traditional resorts in Jamaica this is definitely the place!

“Great huts made a great trip”

Great for adventurous travelers. I wouldn't say it's a great place for younger kids though. Staff is very friendly and will ale care of anything you need. Just be prepared to be bombarded by all of the venders in the market when you come and go. All friendly people though.

“Quiet long-weekend”

This is a funky and off the beaten track place where a friend and I stayed after a meeting in Kingston. It is relaxed, quiet, comfortable and with really lovely staff. It was a good base to explore along the coast from. The little beach is shaded and protected and a great place t just laze around in a hammock reading.

“treehoues magic”

Overall we enjoyed our stay at great huts. The almond treehouse was nice with great views over boston bay. The rooms are a bit rough around the edges but comfortable. This was no problem for us but don't expect luxury it is not what this place is about. We loved the open bathroom and having a shower looking through the trees over the bay. The staff were courteous, friendly and able to help in organizing tours of the local sites. There was access to computers to keep up with your e-mails etc. The evening meals were very good but the breakfast although adequate could be improved. There is no bar just a communal fridge stocked with drinks and run on an honesty system. However the fridge did not work so we couldn't get a cold beer without putting them in the freezer a half an hour before hand and then other guests often took the cold ones we had put in. This complaint may sound petty but could be easily fixed and cold drinks in a tropical climate is a must. I would certainly go back to great huts and would recommend it to people who are after a peaceful holiday and are prepared to forsake some creature comforts to get close to nature.
