Location is keyPosted Apr 12, 2015
The hotel it's self was nice enough. Bare minimum every thing. Few spare bottles behind the bar, no in room safe, no recreation of any kind (pool, courts etc) no affiliation with any guided tours etc., I could go on for a while on what they didn't have. What they did have was "not responsible for lost stolen items signs (including items in the hotel safe) every where. Including the unsecured parking lot. This was only mildly concerning because the hotel was in the middle of what could only be called a "slum" at best. Stray dogs all over the place barking all night, half naked children running about, crumbling buildings here and there, nothing but shanties and shacks for a mile or so in either direction... It WAS walking distance to A "beach" that looked more like a landfill than a spot to relax and was cramped with locals fishing, shelling etc many of whom had perminant-ish leantos and appeared to live there. The staff was pleasant and not at all suprised that I checked out early (and would only refund one day of my upfront payment for three days). The breakfast "buffet" is a chioce of a few menu items that you order the day prior to be ready at a specific time the next day. All in all of you are on the move and need a fairly cheep place to sleep for a night and don't plan on leaving your belongings alone for more than a few min, it's not bad but if you are planning a lengthy stay and want any thing to do or any amenities this is not the place to go.

Good location, without comfort.Posted Feb 9, 2015
Located on a side street. No entertainment. A bit of a walk to town, but relatively safe. Scheduled water shut offs as well as unexpected. Bare minimum hotel. Ran out of soap and toilet paper.

Definitely RecommendingPosted Feb 3, 2015 on Hotels.com
Tim Bamboo was a nice experience overall. It's close enough to the beach and the town centre (for local fare and conveniences). The Jamaican breakfast was good! The staff was very courteous and helpful.

Boa estadiaPosted Jan 12, 2015 on Hotels.com
Tivemos um problema no momento da chegada, pois não tinha a observação que fechamos a reserva com jantar incluído, porém o problema logo foi solucionado, pois a equipe é muito atenciosa. A localização é excelente. O quarto estava limpo e muito aconchegante. Recomendamos esse hotel para todos que visitarem Sant Antonio.

Okay hotel to spend a night in port antonio.Posted Jan 4, 2015
Very average hotel. The room we got after we complained about the first room was much better, more spacious and airy. Very overpriced for the facility.

Food was the best partPosted Dec 29, 2014
Pros: We loved the food; their chef is very good.
Cons: They need more comfortable beds, for sure, and their advertised amenities and guest services should be provided, as advertised.
Location: The hotel is along the main road on the east side of Port Antonio, not far from the Folly Lighthouse and park.
We spent two nights at Tim Bamboo - Christmas Eve and Christmas Day - and chose it for the food. The meals we had were excellent, but the ordering process was confusing and time-consuming, ordering our menu selections at check-in, for both days. The room had a 32 inch flat panel TV, and we planned to watch old Christmas movies and relax in the quiet, away from the big city and work. What we found was that the cable boxes in the hotel were all gone, back to the service provider for repairs, and so there was no TV. We ordered dinner the first night to be brought to our room (remember it was done at check-in) and when we got to the room, there was only one chair, and a narrow computer table next to the bed - not really any place to eat, other than on the bed. We asked for a second chair, which they brought. The in-room free wifi had poor reception, and was difficult to get connected, trying several passwords from the front desk. The room was very clean, but the king-size bed was very uncomfortable. On Christmas Eve, the music and noise level outside was very high and continued until after 2AM, but to be fair, that was probably the case in most of Jamaica that night. We used our ear plugs.

prima uitvalbasis voor port antonio, geen luxePosted Oct 11, 2014
Pros: ligging en personeel en de kamer was goed.
Cons: het ontbijt!!
Location: locatie is prima, centraal gelegen.
