Pros: Close to main road and close to all sight seeing points.
Cons: The restaurant and food needs improvement.
The booking of the hotel through Expedia was not very convenient since after reaching Port Blair , when we checked up with the hotel on 14 May, they said no reservation had been done for us. The reservation confirmation reached the hotel only on 17 May. We were given 2 interconnected rooms instead of 2 seperate rooms since the rooms booked for us had been given to someone else. Overall the stay as such was comfortable.

The room wasn't the cleanest and you can definitely get better value in Port Blair. The size of the room was fine. The AC unit was very old and noisy.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Hotel needs a little renovation and tlc and the staff need to be a bit more aware of Westerners' needs: i.e. breakfast etc. But it is excellent value for money with good fan, AC and hot water

Cons: Noisy outside traffic noise
Location: not very far from Port Blair centre, but not in the centre either.
Ok hotel, slightly delapidated, but fine for a 1 or 2 night stay with the basics. Room can be slightly noisy with outside traffic noise. Restaurant and bar isn't the best. But do get hot water, air con, tv and an ok bed to sleep on.

1) I was told by hotels.com that there would be a refrigerator in the room. There was none. I asked about this to front desk and they told me that refrigerator was only available for deluxe. What did I pay for at the end if the day Standard or Deluxe? If deluxe then I got conned with getting pushed to a standard room 2) there were old soaps in the room when we checked in telling me that the room was not cleaned before I checked in. 3) There was half a packet of old potato chips in the room telling me that the room was not cleaned. 4) Staff was non responsive Overall pathetic state for a hotel even at Budget conditions

The hotel has a nice frontage and the staff are friendly. However, there are a few negatives. There was no soap or towel in the bathroom. The door could be bolted from the inside but the door could not be locked when I went out. Service took forever, I was the only one at breakfast and ordered tea and french toast. It took 40 mins to arrive. I had cats caterwauling outside at midnight. Not the hotel's fault, but there was a generator (or sometihing like it) outside my window which started up at about 5am and went on for an hour. I mentioned the noise when I left the next morning, but nothing was said,. It was cheap, the bed was comfortable, the place clean and there was a TV in the room which worked.

The hotel is not worth to stay a single night. The room and bath are dirty, one total worn out towel for two people, sheets are dirty, unfriendly staff and not able to call a taxi.

I took 2 Bed AC rooms. AC's are placed in room so that they are not usable at all. I need to instruct to change towels always. Water heaters not working.Lights not working. Very poor ventilation. Location is plus.People are pleasing. Over all not worth the money spent.

Had to call front desk for starting Air Conditioner. A/C controls were bad. Hot water was not working. They fixed it. Bathroom was in bad shape. Plumbing needs to be upgraded. Open drain and somewhat clogged. Toilet seat was in bad shape. Had to ask for toilet paper. I would rather pay a little bit more money than stay at a place that is not clean. Front lobby was messy. Did not get breakfast as promised. Staff said it is too early in the morning. The location of the hotel is not the best, but it is OK. Staff was helpful and tried to be responsive, but I would expect management to ensure room is in good shape and not require frequent calls to the front desk to take care of problems.
