Room smelled terriblePosted Feb 25, 2014
Checked in late. Door was hard to get unlocked. Not located in a populated area. Not what we expected at all. Very noisy.

It was okPosted Feb 15, 2014
Pros: Good location to the airport. The owner is really nice and lives on site.
Cons: The bed
It was a small clean room. The bed was a little hard, but we were only there for one night. The owner was great.

Best little hotel in South FloridaPosted Jan 14, 2014 on Hotels.com
I have stayed in this motel/hotel twice now. I am a real person not affiliated with the hotel in any way. This is without doubt the cleanest hotel room in South Florida. The area is completely safe and very convenient. Service is excellent. The owners are nice people, and the rates are the best in Punta Gorda.

No complimentary breakfast. No clean sheets.Posted Jan 7, 2014
Pros: Are you kidding? Nothing to like.
Cons: Everything I stated above.
Location: Too far off I-75.
Online description was completely misleading! Also there were two American Inns in town (one just off I-75) (and one two miles away off I-75). We got the one two miles away on our confirmed itinerary and didn't even know by the web site about the one just off I-75. I had to call them again to receive our confirmation itinerary. (First agent spoke Japanese and the second one said he was stationed in South America!) On the first day we found out that there was NO COMPLIMENTARY BREAKFAST at all, which was promised on their web site, and only a partial coffee pot in the room that was missing half its parts. The batteries were dead on the tv remote control. The windows were UNLOCKED. The second day of our stay, our bed's sheets had not been replaced with clean sheets. The bed mattresses were so hard that our backs were still sore three days later. We were very disappointed, to say the least.

close to airportPosted Dec 12, 2013 on Hotels.com
Was overall very satisfied with our stay. It was a small hotel off the main Highway in Punta Gorda, easy to spot and easy to access, only minutes from restaurants, Walmart and airport. Staff was very pleasant and easy to talk to. Our room was spacious and came with satellite TV w/movie channels :), a small fridge/freezer, microwave. The only downfall was that I had noticed some mold on bottom of shower curtain and the bed could've had more pillows. Again, overall very satisfied and will stay again, next time I visit Punta Gorda.
