Close to Punta Gorda airportPosted Nov 21, 2013
Pros: Room and bathroom were beautifully appointed and very generously sized.
What a lovely hotel. I just needed a one night stay in Punta Gorda to be close to the airport for an early morning flight. The Wyvern was very well priced for such a lovely spot. Beautiful room and accommodations. Wish I could have stayed longer! The only issue which got resolved for me immediately by changing rooms was a noise issue. I stayed in room 208 which faces the back of the hotel and there is a bar nearby with extremely loud music. The staff was very accommodating in moving me across the hall as soon as they heard my issue. Don't know if this bar has music nightly, but I would request a room in the front of the hotel just in case.

Lovely hotelPosted Nov 18, 2013
The hotel was very nice about allowing us to cancel two nights after we had booked a three night stay. The room was quite large and comfortable and the bed and pillows were great. The bathroom and shower were very nice as well. Coffee down at Lulu's in the morning. Perfect stay.

ConventionPosted Oct 21, 2013
This was my first visit at this Hotel, I hope it will not be my last. It is a lovely hotel with a pleasant and well informed and trained staff. Rooms and ammenities were outstanding. Only one thing would improve my stay would have been in room coffee service. I realize that coffee was available in the lobby, but it was not convient for me to go to the lobby and then reurn to my room. The dinning room was being renovated so the menu was limited.

Little bit of Luxury in Punta GordaPosted Oct 19, 2013
The hotel room was beautiful and the bed comfortable. The bathroom was one of the nicer ones I have stayed in, roomy and luxurious except for the water pressure and shower head (they should try the awesome one in the suites at the Hard Rock in Hollywood, FL). The other issue is NO COFFEE MAKER. This is a first for me. Not even a Kuerig! I would have payed for my K-cup if it had been an option. That really is disappointing when you awake at 5 am to do work and can't make yourself a coffee. The pool was nice on the roof top and the staff sent for towels, the only little thing was that the bar didn't have Belvedere Vodka but the staff made up for that by being very professional and down to earth nice.

Beautiful place to watch the sunsetPosted Aug 13, 2013 on Hotels.com
If you're looking for a romantic getaway, this is the place. I took my husband there for his birthday and he was very impressed! The rooms were impeccable and very tastefully done. There were some neat places to walk to but we drove the mile to Fishermans Village for lunch to enjoy the water view. The highlight, though, was watching the sunset from the rooftop bar at the hotel. Overlooking Charlotte Harbor, the view was breathtaking and the band playing made for a fun night!
