Pleasant One Night StayPosted Dec 20, 2014
Pros: Facilities, location, price.
Cons: Morning checkout clerk was preoccupied. Night clerk was much more attentive and friendly.
Location: Very convenient to the border crossing. Good shopping mall and restaurants nearby. In warmer weather, it's very near the river, which is scenic.
Came across the border to Port Huron to do a little Christmas shopping and decided to try the Quality Inn for a change. Was pleasantly surprised at the facilities - room, lobby, breakfast area. We arrived just before midnight and the clerk was very cordial and accommodating. It was a pleasant one-night stay. I'd stay again.

We are glad you chose to stay with us on your recent Christmas shopping trip. Your compliments are much appreciated and will also be noted. The most important aspect of the lodging business is to have a great staff as well so I will be sure to share your feedback with the rest of the team. Thank you again and have a great day!

Pros: large washroom and direct tv with a large tv. had a coffee maker, iron, and also a small fridge was great. loved the hot tub and pool
Cons: The fried eggs were a little rubbery they need to put up a wall as dinning room in near the front door every time the door opened we got a draft
Location: lots of shopping and different places to eat easy to get to next door to a bowling alley
Check in and out was so simple They put us in a room on grounod floor just like I requested online

Everything was great inside the hotel.Posted Nov 30, 2014
Pros: The cleanliness. The breakfast had a great selection.
Cons: Light switches that light up. I found it hard to see in the room when I first opened the door and did not know where the switches were.
Location: Easy access to anything.
People at the front desk were very welcoming. Great atmosphere inside. Great selection on the TV. Lots of channels to chose from. The room was nice and clean.

OKPosted Nov 27, 2014
Cons: The carpets in the first floor hall are dingy and worn which does not leave a good impression on the cleanliness of the hotel. They should be replaced
The location was very close the the border crossing however the entrance to the hotel on Hancock St between the Wendy's and the gas station is obscure, very difficult to see and extremely easy to miss. There is an entrance on Pine avenue however if you miss it you are forced onto the ramp to Canada. I would suggest a larger illuminated sign on Hancock St with an arrow or some better way to identify the entrance.

Great for a weekend of shoppingPosted Nov 24, 2014
Pros: Pool area, cleanliness, location, breakfast, room size
Cons: Room only had double beds
Location: Shopping nearby, fast food restaurants close. Very close to highway and Blue Water Bridge
Booked this as a secret deal for Port Huron. Really nice hotel with a great pool area. Room furnishings as pretty simple, but everything was very clean and comfortable and a decent size. Great selection of satellite tv stations in HD. Breakfast was beyond the ordinary with boiled and scrambled eggs, grits and waffles in addition to the usual. Location is excellent, right off the highway, close shopping and right beside the Blue Water Bridge. Wendy's, McDonalds and Tim Horton's are close by, but real restaurants require a car.

Close to shopping.Posted Nov 17, 2014
We have stayed at this location 2 other times this year. On our second visit was very disappointed that hot tub was not working, however it was working great on our visit last week-end.

Nice hotel, clean & comfortable.Posted Nov 6, 2014
Pros: Clean and comfortable.
Cons: Pool area has so much potential, this could really set this hotel apart from the others in the area.
Location: Very busy "paved parking lot " area, we found we had to use a car for everything. Definitely not a pedestrian friendly area.
Negatives ... we were hoping to spend some time around the pool, but it was far to cold to enjoy and all the other guests trying to use the pool were complaining about how cold it was! The man on duty tried to get the temp. up but it is a long process. Bottom line, don't consider using the pool. Positives ... continental breakfast was great and the Hostess really cheerful, she is a delight ... dining area was spotless, all good.
