Girls weekendPosted Apr 28, 2015
Pros: Everything you needed was there or a short distance to it. They have an awesome restaurant/ bar, spa and gym facilities. Great scenery by the water.
Cons: I didn't see anything.
Location: Tons of restaurants, bars, ice cream shops, boutique stores and a short drive from the wineries further east.
I was at Danfords for an overnight with the girls for a bachelorette and it was excellent. The staff are quick and helpful. We ended up needing a cot for an extra guest and they were right on top of it. We went to the bar to get our ice bucket filled and he gave us 2 extras. We had spa treatments at The Blue Sapphire and we were given a great bottle of champagne to relax and celebrate. There were no worries! The area is beautiful and we lucked out with great weather, because everything is walking distance. The rooms were really spacious and comfortable with modern and clean amenities. I can't wait to go back for another stay and more spa!

Beautiful room. The bed is so comfortable. One of the best showers ever. And the continental breakfast was appreciated. It is also a great location.

Pros: The rooms were nice, well-appointed, and exceptionally spacious.
Cons: The heating system in the room was extremely noisy. There is no second exit to the fitness room that isn't locked with a deadbolt. Criminal.
I stayed here for two nights in the dead of winter. Used only the room and fitness facility.

좋은 장소Posted Jan 24, 2015 on Hotels.com
해안에 위치한 호텔로 주변환경이나서비스. 특히 주말조식오물릿은 최상임. 난방기 소음이 적으면 좋을 듯함

SUrprise, SurprisePosted Jan 22, 2015 on Hotels.com
The first room we checked into had no power except in the bathroom. They moved us immediately into another room but the heat had been turned up to 78 so it was sweltering in there and we had to open the windows until bedtime to get the room back to normal. A couple of the drawers would not close on the dresser in our room. The room was spacious and very comfortable once the heat was regulated. When we checked out of our room we were charged again for our room despite having paid on Hotel's.com. The second charge was significantly lower that the price we had originally paid but we were still charged the Hotel's.com price. It required a phone call the next day to resolve this issue. Location was great... in the middle of Port Jefferson and extremely convenient to the ferry for our trip across the Sound to Connecticut the next day

Amazing hotel....noisy neighborhoodPosted Jan 9, 2015 on Hotels.com
The hotel was beautifuly decorated for the holiday and the fireplaces were very inviting. We enjoyed a fabulous meal at the restaurant adjacent to the lobby. Despite the rain, the restaurant offered fantastic views of the harbor. The only downfall was the noisy neighborhood. I am not sure if it was a big event at he hotel or if it was just a typical Saturday night in the area but people were yelling on the sidewalk at all hours of the night. The walls and windows did not block out the street noise.

Great location in Port Jeff near ferryPosted Jan 3, 2015 on Hotels.com
This hotel is located right in the middle of Port Jefferson. Right when you come off the ferry you can see the hotel. The hotel is set up with multiple buildings but it is not hard to find your building/room because they provide you with a map. The hotel room itself seems recently renovated and was very nice. The shower is really nice! The only reason I gave a 3 for cleanliness was because I happened to find an old bandaid on the covers on the bed...also there is no microwave or mini fridge. If you want ice you must take your ice bucket to the main building at the bar. Not a huge deal but good to know. Also, hotels.com says there is free breakfast here but it is only during the weekdays (which I did not know) from 7am-10:30am. We have only been here for one night and our room was on the ground floor so we kept hearing the door open and close all night and a few people were quite noisy but it didn't really bother us. Overall I would stay here again if I found a good deal because the location is within walking distance of the ferry and main street.
