In a pinchPosted Mar 16, 2014
Pros: Location and beds and price.
Cons: I said what in the comment above - shower area of the bathroom and patching needed in various open holes.
We had to take this motel because the Danforth(sp) was full for a double room. This was ok - an old fashioned motel - open to the parking lot. The beds were comfortable and the outside bathroom area was ok. the shower area needs complete redoing and patching should be done in the doorways and painting to close holes.

Good Afordable Place to Stay at Port JeffersonPosted Oct 30, 2013 on Hotels.com
By far the lowest price, clean room in an older motel. Very satisfied, they had Dunkin Donuts, but my brother ate most of them. I certainly would stay there again.

Clean, quiet, and comfortable motelPosted Apr 15, 2013
Pros: The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.
Cons: Very simple furnishings, but that doesn't matter since we were there just to sleep.
Location: Very convenient to Port Jefferson and the North Shore. Easy to access highway to NYC.
This is a nice motel convenient to the north shore of Long Island. Our room was small, but clean and comfortable, and the bed was great!. The whole motel environment was good: clean and quiet! Continental Breakfast is included. Originally the room offered was for a smoking room, but we requested a non-smoking room if available. When we arrived we were given a non-smoking room, so it's worth asking. We'll stay there again!

first stay on long islandPosted Apr 14, 2013 on Hotels.com
well ,to be honest at first i was hesitant when i drove up to the building , then when i went into my room it was a mess .(smoking room) I did not ask for smoking but it was a mistake on my reservation.felt skeevee in that room.burns in carpet and comforter . was ready to leave and ask for my money back ,and the man at the front was kind and offered me another room, that was non smoking.i hesitantly said yes.Boy what a difference?? I was pleasently surprised at the quality of the room .I had a great sleep bed was comfortable and it was qiuet. and clean.I would definitley stay there again but only in a non smoking room.

Clean, and good for a night's rest.Posted Jan 5, 2013 on Hotels.com
Although I normally wouldn't choose a location such as this, the motel had a very large room and everything was in working order. The price was unbeatable, and I was impressed with the cleanliness of the room and the grounds. This property backs on to what seems to be a nice residential area, and I felt safe being there. It is also a short $8 cab ride to the Port Jefferson Marina/Main Street area. I would stay at this property again.
