Hi Teresa, Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback and rating. Unfortunately, when the building was made, the smaller systems were installed. We have started the installation of gas hot water for our apartments, for instantaneous hot water. Regular cleaning of the stairways and common areas occurs each morning, however, due to the high food traffic and weather, it can become dirty quickly.

Hi Pete, Sorry about the fridge. It appears to have been "things" inside the fridge rattling against eachother as the motor ran. The fridge is due for replacement shortly.

Hi Julian, Unfortunately, some of our rooms (like yours) were affected by a sea mist that came in overnight. (Rooms were left open to air). So the moldy smell was actually a salty residue from the sea mist. Window restrictions are now a legal requirement, so small children do not fall to the death or serious injury. As explained to you at the time, Port Macquarie is an idyllic environment for Cockroaches, and even though we have the apartments sprayed regularly, they "fly in" on occasions. This is why we include it in our "Compendium" to educate guest that it does not indicate a "dirty" room. As we are a small establishment, we do not refund guest for shortened stays under any circumstances. In your case I did relist the apartment as being available the following night, and would have given you a partial refund had the apartment sold, which it didn't.

Hi Shantala, Thanks for your feedback. We are unaware of any maintenance issues with your apartment. I'm sorry your apartment was not up to our usual high standard of cleanliness. Unfortunately, sometimes guests put equipment away with washing properly, and this is sometimes missed by our cleaners.

Thanks for your feedback and rating. The beds are rated as "medium" which suits most people, but could be a bit hard for those used to a soft bed. The coffee machine was out of order only for a few hours. The Pool was smashed during the hot days and was attended to early each morning, and was super-chlorinated whenever needed. Glad you had a good break anyway.

Hi Anonymous, You are obviously an exceptional family. However, some guests have been worse than pigs, trashing the rooms and leaving a huge mess to cleanup. I cannot tell by just meeting you what state you will leave the apartment. Unfortunately the incident I refer too had just happened, and they checked in with a Debit card, and we could not recover the damage costs.

Sorry you experienced this, apparently they were going home the next day, and didn't care if they broke the rules. Unfortunately I have to cleanup the broken glass the next morning.
