“A Charming Hotel”

We had a great stay at this hotel. We were greeted very cordially by the hotel manager when we arrived and made to feel welcome. Our room was delightful - Marie's Suite - a big corner room overlooking the Main thoroughfare with the Sound beyond. From the many windows in our room, we could see activities in the street below and the seagulls flying by. There is parking for hotel guests, which is definite plus. As many of the reviewers have said, the various rooms have their individual charms. The Marie Suite is decorated in red tones with white shades and curtains. Even though the room is right on the main street, we didn't notice any street noise during the night. We had an early dinner at the Sirens, which is right down the street within walking distance from the hotel. We drove to the Blue Moose Cafe for a wonderful breakfast.

We have stayed at least four times and are never disappointed. The hotel is in a great location for walking and browsing the town. The rooms are individually and charmingly decorated in keeping with the age and history of the building.

“Victorian Rxperience”

Loved the place and it's Victorian atmosphere. Although staircase is beautiful one would need help with heavy luggage.

“Friendly Hotel”

Very nice overall first impression. The staff greeted us at check in and was helpful. The decor was also nice. It was agreat location in town. Close to shopping and resturants.We would stay here again.
