“Nice place for right price”

Room was clean and offers "green" options. Decent breakfast offered. However, the housekeeping staff was a bit noisy down the hall in the morning.

“Good value”

The hotel is being renovated so it was somewhat of a mess. However, the room was clean and comfortable. I did have to hook up the TV though. It was a good value.

“Nice place to stay.”

When we arrived and went into our room, we smelled a faint odor of smoke so I called the front desk and asked if we had requested a non smoking room. Lisa, the manager said yes, we had requested non smoking, and apologized, said she would switch rooms closeby so we could move our belongings easily. I went to the next room and smelled the same odor so I told Lisa we would just stay in the first room as the other one smelled the same. She said that she did not want us to be uncomfortable during our stay and upgraded us to a king suite at no charge. The room was very nice, and did not smell of smoke at all, large flat screen tv, wet bar with microwave and ref., it was very nice. I would defnately stay there again. Plus we were traveling with our pet and it was nice as they had an area for him outside to do his business. My only complaint is that Expedia did not tell us there was a separate pet fee when I booked, only $15.00 (one time) but would have been nice to know up front.

“quality was what I expected for the price paid....”

The hotel had recently been renovated so it was clean. There was no iron in the room, only in the guest laundry, which was inconvenient. The coffee maker in the room did not work, but the microwave and refrigerator did. The room next to ours ws a smoking room (ours was not), and the smoke and smell was strong enough in our room that it caused us to leave early. The room was about what I expected for the price.

“Okay hotel if on budget”

You get what you pay for. This hotel was about $40 cheaper/night than the Holiday Inn Express next door. For what we paid, this hotel met my expectations (but I probably will not stay there again). PROs = free breakfast, free wifi, fridge/microwave/coffee maker in room, and very nice staff. CONs = hallways smelled like smoke, no air conditioning in the hallways (very hot), side doors to hotel did not lock after hours, and more likely to have problem neighbors (marijuana smell in hall one weekend night, yelling late another weekend night).

“Not bad with the recent renovations.”

The hotel seemed to have went through some resent renovations, and overall had a nice atmosphere. The only things that I thought they could improve on was the type of bed, and their computers were always "down".

“Bad beds”

Rooms were clean but mattresses were way too soft/old. Towels rough. Low water pressure.

“Will never stay there again...horrible management”

Small children consistently playing behind the check-in counter. Very small lobby that was consistently filled with locals that were not guests of the hotel. Local teenagers that were not guest of the hotel congregated outside front door of motel...loud music from the cars and using vulgar & offensive language. Thin walls. Trash can outside of hotel room reeked of something dead for two days. Extremely hard mattress. Very few selections for continental breakfast. I am guessing this is a family run motel and none of the family members are trained in hotel management.
