Many of Boston’s key attractions can be found near to Porter Square, making it a popular place to stay or visit on a day trip. There are some excellent art galleries to visit including the Harvard University Art Museums in Cambridge.
If the sun is shining get into the great outdoors and enjoy the nearby green spaces. Visitors of all ages love to hang out in places like Royall Park in Medford. There is a charming atmosphere here and well-tended botanical displays. Grab your camera and enjoy the well-used ecological reserves for which this area is well known, like the Prospect Hill Park in Somerville.
