Good base for Portland Exploration

Posted Jul 28, 2014
Pros: comfortable beds, hot tub
Cons: More high protein choices and fruit at breakfast.
Since we are a family of 4, our Portland hotel choices were limited. The Comfort Inn worked great. Desk staff was very helpful in explaining nearby public transportation and it was great to have free parking.

Close to Providence Hospital and Airport

Excellent service and nice rooms. Rates a little high for the usual Comfort Inn, but we had a very large room with king size bed and sitting area. Unfortunately we had a room facing a very busy street. If you get reservations be sure to ask for room away from freeway and busy street. There are some rooms facing a side street - do not remember the name of the street - may be it is Waverley Street.

Convenient, clean and comfortable

Posted Jul 17, 2014
I stayed for five nights to attend a conference at Oregon Convention Center. The location was very convenient. Train station was just a few steps away. Easy access to the Airport and Convention Center. Even a trip to downtown was very easy. Room was clean and beds were very comfortable. Free WiFi & parking & continental breakfast. I'd recommend this place for any business travelers. The only negative thing is that there are not much else in the immediate neighborhood. I recommend eating in the downtown.

Staff was friendly, rooms were clean and comfortable. The only downside was that the pool was too cold for my kids.

Comfortable bed

Posted Jun 30, 2014
Pros: Comfortable bedding
Cons: Breakfast
Location: Lloyd Centre
The bed is so comfortable, I like it so much! The location closes to highway but quiet. The hotel room is modern and spacious. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel provides simple breakfast, it is ok for me.

Best of the Bargain Hotels

Posted May 22, 2014 on Hotels.com
The Comfort Inn is clean as brand new, with very comfortable beds and pillows. The staff was friendly and courteous, and the breakfast was respectable. A large group was placed on the same floor, side by side, which is rarely the case with more expensive hotels. This is not a luxury hotel, but a great bargain for the level of comfort and cleanliness. The only downside is that it sits on busy 82nd Street, so light sleepers will be unhappy with traffic noise on one side of the hotel.
