Ok hotel , close to shopping.

Posted Sep 1, 2014
Pros: Duvets on the beds, in room mini fridage and microwave.
Cons: It wasn't the cleanist hotel I've seen. The doors in the hallway and rooms were quite filthy. The pool area could use a deep cleaning and an update.
Location: Close to a grocery store and great outlet shopping in Freeport. Beautiful beaches less than an hour away.
The staff was great, the beds were comfortable and the room was spacious.

Very nice - exceptionally clean.

Posted Aug 31, 2014
Pros: Staff were very friendly and always offering to help in one way or another.
Cons: For this type of hotel, I can't think of anything that could be improved. They are right are target in this market.
Location: LL Bean, outlets stores, good restaurants, couple of small beaches, some nice, relatively flat hiking, great biking and kayaking.
This hotel is close to everything in Freeport, shopping, hiking at Wolf's Neck Park, and some fabulous eating.

Check-in Staff with No manners

Posted Aug 24, 2014
Pros: The night staff woman :)
Cons: Too many to list!
Location: Not enough things near by.
I drove several hours from NY and when I checked in the man working there kept his hand out in front of me rushing me to find my credit card and license and I was a tad stressed from the long drive so I had to leave hotel and go to my car to talked to my husband. I calmed down went back in and had license, credit card and AAA card in my hand. I handed it to the man and he threw my AAA card towards me and said I didnt need that because I prepaid through a third party. Why didn't he tell me in the first place. The lady at night was WONDERFUL!!!! Friendly and amzingly helpful! Then i checked out to Mr. Not So Nice and he was just as unpleasant as when I checked in. I asked for a receipt and he snapped you do not get one because you booked through a third party! Also had a few bugs inside the window in the room and my husband and I had to get rid of all of them before my daughter would stay. Unattended little children in pool, jumping and yelling! couldn't enjoy a swim :( Not staying there again!

Nice Hotel

Posted Aug 3, 2014
Pros: Cleanliness and breakfast.
Cons: Firmer mattress and pillows
Location: above
The staff is very friendly. The room is clean. The bed and pillows for my husband and I are way to soft. That would really be my only discomfort. The fitness room has one of each large machine (4) with a TV, towels and a water cooler, although when I went in to use the machines it was later and the cooler was empty. The breakfast is nice, with mini omlets, bacon or sausage, waffels, oatmeal, breads, cereals, fruits, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, pastry, and juices. edward was nice and gave good suggestions for sightseeing. The hotel is located near the LL Bean Outlets which could take you days to cover. Going out right from the parking lot is a wonderful custard stand..YUM! If you can travel to Cooks Lobster house..do it! Merceds in Naples is amazing! All done from scratch and the lobster stew..to die for.

Convenient, clean and comfortable

We had a great stay. The lobby/hallways looked dated, but our room was beautifully updated with comfy beds, free wifi and plenty of space. Breakfast was on the better end of complimentary breakfasts we have had.

Good look with nightmares

Posted Jul 7, 2014
Pros: Comfort of the beds and internet access
Cons: Staff and price. Very expansive for the quality of service.
Location: Freeport and Portland are great.
The receptionist, Edward, was snob and wasn't help us. The morning after our arrival. There was no hot water. None of us coule take a shower. Our toilet was leaking. We put the "do not disturb" card at the door and we left for a little trip in Portland and the housekeeping even came inside and did our beds and took the Lego Friends box of my daughter. The hot tub near the pool was awful, not clean. An adhesive bandage was floating on the water. The hotel was very noisy.

Quick overnight

Very comfortable suite. Only disadvantage was (maybe because we were on) first floor, we had housekeeping try to bust in on us at 9:15 Sunday morning, with an 11 a.m. checkout time...breakfast was great, looked to have nice indoor pool (although not suitable for laps). Overall, I'd stay there again.

Every thing was great! Could have done without the noise from the highway. But the comfort was great!
