Very convenient

Posted Aug 22, 2014
Pros: Clean bed and pillows, felt safe
Cons: The refrigerator in the tv cabinet was just annoying , being in the cabinet it echoed its loud high pitch hum , it was bearable
Location: creeks, rivers, fastfood
The hotel location was very convenient, there was a safeway down the street. On the way to the safeway there was a Plaid Pantry just like a 711. The hotel was in a perfect location if youre traveling the freeway was just a few blocks away. When we first got in , it was surprising how nice and quiet the place was , verry clean as well

Terrible rooms

Posted Aug 21, 2014
The location was the only feature this motel had going for it. The rooms were dirty, we had to change rooms from the first one becuase it had someone smoking in it and stunk like cigs really bad, the tv didn't work right, really fuzzy, bathroom was unclean, had a used water bottle laying on the floor (not ours) and it was really small. Felt like this motel needed to be torn down and a new one built in it's place, as it was really dated and was not up to todays standards in any way. The alarm clock made clicking sounds all night and the AC rattled really hard. No towels in the suana or pool area, and both of the 2 tredmills were broken or not working and had do not use signs on them. Overall not a good stay as we were there 3 nights.

Should of paid more for a better place

Posted Aug 20, 2014
Pros: Close proximity to the freeway and a major shopping center
Cons: Remodel and update everything.
The bed was old, hard. The room is small. The towels are small. The first room did not have a pleasant odor to it so we got another room. The housekeeper are there early in the morning wanting to clean your room before you get a chance to shower. One day they forgot to clean our room and did not bring fresh towels. The breakfast is very simple, not a large variety to choose from. The dry cereal was a no name and out dated. The only fruit was a banana. The yogurt was a no name, lack taste. No hot chocolate available, just coffee. The tv was programed to get you to buy a movie to watch, so when you were watching tv for a short period of time, it would switch to the pay for a movie selection. You then had to switch back.

Good place to stay

Posted Aug 19, 2014
I did a lot of online search before an arrival in Portland. The first thought that I chose Days Inn Clackamas was the good room rate I had compared. I had stayed here for 4 nights. Everything looks great to us except for a breakfast which is not suit us, Chinese tourists. But that's not a problem at all. The general feeling about staying at Days Inn Clackamas is comfortable and their staff treated us friendly. I really appreciated their assistance.

Non smoking rooms??

Posted Aug 18, 2014
Pros: It was close to the freeway, right by the mall and close to restraunts
Cons: fix the door problems and maybe make a sign about the lights to leave in the room
Location: about 15 miles from downtown Portland
when we checked in on Friday we were told we were in a room over on the east side of the building so we unpacked our car went into the hotel room which the door was hard to open and close like the door jam was bent and then went about our plans for the weekend! When we came back we tried to go through the east door by our room and it could not open when it opened earlier! So we walked all the way around only to find out by the new desk clerk that the door basically only works when it wants to! Then when we came back on Saturday night, it worked just fine! I thought the pool was a little cool for an evening swim and the outlet was attached to the light switch which would have been nice to know because that's where my cell phone was plugged in so it didn't get charged overnight!
