room was not the cleanst, toilet plugged twice, Maintenance had to be told how to fix it. Bath tub dirty no daily room cleaning washer and dryer rusted didn't have coffee had to exchange towels

Hotel was barely cleaned, and had minimal supplies. The "breakfast" was dry cereal and a yogurt. That's basically it. I know it was a cheaper hotel yet I still feel robbed.

I am sorry to hear that we were not what you had hoped for; while we try to be as budget friendly as possible, we do offer grab and go breakfast item which includes coffee, tea, juice, milk, cereal, yogurt, granola bars and fresh fruits everyday. There was feces smeared on the wall in the bathroom. When I called the front desk they said they could not change our room or have someone clean it until the morning and that I would need to call again in the morning. Beds felt like styrofoam boxes, we’re not comfortable. Mini fridge had rust all over it. Not enough bath towels in room. Bathtub was discussing, had dirt or something else on the bottom of the tub. Floor was also dirty. Will never stay here again!

The motel was disgusting. Mold everywhere. I didn’t have time to get another hotel because I was only there for 2 nights. I called and complained and the manager told me that if I had complained the first morning they would have put me in another room. My mother and grandma were in another room and it wasn’t any better. I wouldn’t have wanted another room. I requested a complete refund, but was told no. I have lots of pictures showing how disgusting it was.

Rooms need more tlc
I know the area in general is humid, but I’m not sure if it’s normal to have the floors looking soaked every morning, thankfully Wasn’t an issue with the ac on the lowest setting. The ironing board and hair dryer was filthy, the fridge was wet inside. The bed headboard had gum on it. The shower and the sink wouldn’t drain. At least the Pool was great, and everything worked in the room.

The floor was sticky and the sheets and duvet were wet like they hadnt been fully dry before being put on the bed. They would not provide extra pillows at all.

Taking advantage of the Covid system?
No cleaning service offered during stay... Dirty sheets, burn holes in top sheet. Front desk lady was very nice, but definitely understaffed or just taking advantage of the covid issues. Hotels used to be full service everything. Now they're just a place to sleep in a dirty bed. Won't be using this hotel again. Recommend that you spend the extra $100+ on a hotel with good service reviews.

As everyone else, we are also struggling to have enough staff members to work at the hotel and that is the reason why we do not have daily housekeeping. We do have stayover services every 3rd day of your stay, in your case you stayed with us for 2 nights and that is the reason you did not have housekeeping go in the room. However, I am glad to hear that our front desk was able to help you with new sheets. Once again, we truly appreciate your feedback; it is our goal to provide you with a positive, memorable experience each and every time you stay with us.

I saw a 3.9 average rating fro this hotel on Expedia when booked. Apparently the majority of visitors did not look at the corners, behind the commode or behind the furniture to find all the dirt anyone would ever want. The hotel has limited staff and cleanliness is not a priority. Hotel is frequented by nearby Exon workers who are soiled and inadvertently transfer their dirt on walls. If staff would only clean this would not be a problem

The property overall was very nice. The beds were comfy and the room was clean. The air conditioner had a strong mildew smell which was uncomfortable. The staff was kind and courteous.

Room needed updating, worn fixtures, cracked sink counter. Many construction workers stay there, so they clean out the basic continental breakfast foods and coffee very early...there was no one around to replenish food or make more coffee.

An Enjoyable Stay Worthy of a "10" Rating!
Staying at Day Inn by Wyndham Portland was a last minute decision due to auto mechanical problems while driving through the area. After contacting Hotel.Com and successfully completing a last minute hotel reservation, the end result was a fabulous experience. The Management Team at Days Inn by Wyndham were very helpful and accommodating. The facility was very clean, parking area very well lit and marked, and the hotel room was perfect, clean, and very comfortable. Accessibility to their WIFI was easy and readily available. The room had plenty of complimentary coffee packets ready to be used. Really an enjoyable experience! I would give Days Inn by Wyndham Portland a "10!"

DIRTY ROOM DIRTY TOWELS IN ROOM
It was extremely disappointing that room was not cleaned before the room was assigned. Dirty towels behind the door of the restroom. Bedding as not changed. When this information was shared at check out as well as when towels had to be retrieved, we were told that housekeeping could be sent out. That didn't work due to housekeeping was already gone! When asked for a discounted price we were told no.
