Easy drive into downtown PortlandPosted Oct 7, 2013
Pros: The beds were REALLY comfortable. Great breakfast buffet! Waffles, scrambled eggs, toast, fruit, yogurt and more! Room has white noise generator too!
Cons: Nothing I can think of at this time.
Location: There are 2 restaurants in walking distance: Pizza Mia and Subway sandwiches.
The hotel was great, the staff friendly and helpful, room was clean and comfortable, great breakfast buffet, overall a really nice facility with an indoor pool. Make sure and print out a map or you might have a hard time getting there. While you can see it from Interstate 5, you have to go through 2 cloverleaves and we messed it up 3 times before we got there. But maybe we're just a bit directionally challenged.

Nice hotel. Next to major interstate interchange. Big trucks and lots of traffic. Noisy.

Accommodating staff made for an easy stay.Posted Jul 25, 2013
Cons: Dont love the location but it was very convenient to the freeway
Location: was not there long enough
Had to adjust my reservation and was a late arrival and all was handled very pleasantly by the staff. The gentleman on staff when I arrived printed out directions for my morning destination completely unprompted.

Safe Location/Relaxing/Great for WalkingPosted Jun 13, 2013 on Hotels.com
Staff was very courteous. Breakfast each morning was excellent just about anything one would want was available. They made great coffee and the fruits were always fresh. This hotel is very clean. I really appreciate that all the Marriott Hotels are smoke-free; it is one of the main reasons I book with them. The room was in a good location and quiet. Could have used a few more power outlets in the room near the bed. Missed having a refrigerator but managed ok with the ice bucket and ice maker down the hall. The maintenance staff kept me supplied with towels, the plumbing worked and the water was hot. The tv worked well as did the radio. The clock was handy beside the bed (no need for wake-up call). Nice that a computer was available in the lobby free. Overall, a very relaxing and pleasant stay.

Perfect Stay while in PortlandPosted May 21, 2013 on Hotels.com
This hotel is not close to downtown, but is really close to the Yellow Line, which goes right into downtown for 5 bucks a day. The rooms were a great size, internet was stable and fast. The staff was also very helpful. There isnt really much around the location for food or things to do, but the public transportation, which is a short walk from the hotel, was perfect. Just get a day pass and take the train in. If I ever go to portland again, this will for sure be the place for me.

Good value, easy accessPosted Mar 27, 2013 on Hotels.com
2nd stay here. Like the convenient location close to i5 and 99. Place is clean, staff great. Not much surrounding the area and the rooms can be noisy.

Front Desk Attendent??Posted Mar 27, 2013 on Hotels.com
Overall this hotel was very nice, but I had a poor experience with the hotel service. I needed to ask a question at the front desk and I sat in the front lobby for 20 min w/out the site of a single person working for the hotel. I was screaming/shouting trying to get someone and no one came. POOR.

Great for expo eventsPosted Mar 26, 2013 on Hotels.com
I've used this hotel multiple times. Rates are good, location convenient to hiwy 99 and I5 and Expo Center. My only nit is that the place can be noisy. Road noise can be loud and walls are not sound insulated. Rooms come with a white noise maching to help mask road noise so they know it's a problem. Service is very good, place is very clean. Free Shuttle to airport, Marriott points, so it's hard to complain too much.
