Just another hotel...Posted Jul 31, 2015
Pros: the price
Cons: Fix it up a little.
Location: There is nothing "near by"
Stayed for one night. This is not a resort but it is good enough to crash and the price is right. We arrived late and all I remember is an incredibly long walk from the lobby to our room... Kinda reminded me scenes from "The Shining". A bit of a coincidence :)

Old, Tired, MustyPosted Jul 28, 2015
Pros: Price was ok.
Cons: Redo entire hotel
Very disappointing -- old tired musty. Sink counter height mid thigh (I'm 5'3"), shower head so low I had to duck to get my head wet, pillows awful.

Wonderful hotel, great staffPosted Jul 18, 2015
I arrived later than expected, and the hotel staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. Upon check in, I received a voucher for $10 off my meal at the hotel restaurant (dinner or breakfast), a cookie, and they arranged a no-charge late checkout, because my flight for the following day had changed to a later departure. If I hadn't had to catch a flight, I would have gladly stayed another night, and if I'm ever in Portland, Maine, again, I will most definitely stay at Fireside Inn & Suites. The shuttle driver to the airport (free service) also was a gem! The hotel also is close to a shopping center that has a nice variety of stores and restaurants, all within walking distance.

right on Rte 95, ridiculously long hallways to rooms; stinky air conditioner. a single window that opens only a few inches; a bus idling right outside our window at 6:00 AM for 30 minutes; a phone that did not work

A bed at the long day of canceled flights.Posted Jul 13, 2015
Cons: A little dated. Better comfortable beds
Location: Not sure. Just used it to sleep
We ended up booking this hotel after a half day of delayed and canceled flights. It had a bed (hard) but got us the sleep we needed. Had a restaurant with European continental style breakfast.

Hmmm...Posted Jun 24, 2015
Unfortunately, I wasn't pleased with the room. It was rather dark due to the wall paint and outdated. It also had a smell that wasn't pleasant, like musty pool water. The bed was comfortable...thank goodness. The bathroom was awkward and everything seemed very low.

I would recommend itPosted Jun 19, 2015
Other than our room smelling like wet dog when we got there, and the room itself needing updating, our stay was wonderful. I even realize I had forgotten my pillow in the room, and the front desk said they would check and get back with me. Within 5 minutes they called me and told me it was found and waiting for me at the front desk. We'll start there again if we ever go back to Portland Maine.

Not too far from downtownPosted Jun 16, 2015
Cons: The pools are only open until 10pm. Seems early when you're on vacation and want to swim.
The king size beds were great! Tons of pillows and comfortable bedding. My boyfriend and I were extremely comfortable.
