liked location out of Portland congested area

Posted Apr 29, 2015
Pros: clean, reasonably priced
Cons: include some gluten free items in breakfast menu
Location: Just liked relaxed atmosphere of area with good access to freeway system and local shopping readily available including fast food
Advertised free breakfast should read FREE CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST. Because I'm celiac I expected eggs etc. when in fact it was muffins, toast and hot cakes

Somewhat updated but still old hotel

Posted Apr 28, 2015
Pros: Our top floor room was quiet and the staff were very nice. Freeway access close by. Short travel to airport, shopping, downtown and restaurants.
Cons: Needs updating.
Location: Older part of town so had to travel to everything.
Non smoking room smelled smoky. 80's TV. Terrible continental breakfast. 7 eleven crowd hanging around parking lot.

There are ants

Posted Apr 23, 2015
Pros: The breakfast was fair, a good variety.
Cons: cleaner rooms
Location: As for the location, you can visit Portland and take in all the sightseeing and shopping that you want to.
It's okay, there were ants everywhere. A cracked window, which reported. They asked if I wanted it fixed right away but did not offer any compensation. Overall the place was okay.

Unkept/sketchy area

Posted Apr 21, 2015
Hotel staff was nice. They had plenty of parking for my truck towing a trailer. She gave me a room over looking where I was parked So I could monitor my truck. Lots of homeless people lingering around the outside of the hotel. Decent pool and hot tub and sauna. TV was an old tube TV and quality of the picture sucked. Lacking many channels. Bathroom door lock was broken as was the bathroom fan. security chain on the main door to the room was also broken.

Friendly staff, clean

Posted Apr 21, 2015
Friendly staff, smooth checkin, clean room. Booked with expedia discount on mobile app, which was simple and affordable, suited our needs. Pillows could be larger in size for comfort.

The room was spacious, and clean. The hotel staff was friendly, and helpful. It was a 10 minute drive to the things we wanted to do. The pool was great for keeping the kids entertained, and exhausting some of their energy before bed time. The breakfast was so so, but free, so I can't complain. Over all we had a good experience, and it was more than I expected for the price.

Pros: Fairly easy access and quiet.
Cons: Cleaning and maintenance.

Ants in the Room

Posted Apr 17, 2015
Pros: The beds were comfortable, the shower was nice, unlimited hot water
Cons: I could get my money back and be able to stay at another hotel. But I had chosen a nonrefundable rate.
I made a list of all the things that went wrong: The hotel clerk was rude to people throughout the whole weekend. The TV reception was horrible, old TV's The phones in my room did not work. The pool was cold and the Jacuzzi was out of order The cliental was questionable The pillows were 1/3 the size of regular pillows When a guest asked for more blankets, the clerk gave her a hard time about it and was going to charge her to use the pull out sofa The toilet backed up and when I went to the desk to have it fixed, they gave me the plunger The door to the room did not shut the whole way unless it was pushed hard There were ants in the room. The continental breakfast was crowded and the food was old I went to this hotel because it was $50 cheaper a night and for the pool and Jacuzzi My advice if you are going to stay in Gresham, and you care where you and your family will stay, spend the extra $50!

Pros: price, location close to family
Cons: Manager could use some classes in customer service
Nice hotel for the price, but I had a bad experience with the manager/owner. received a call from the manager saying we left our stuff in the room and had not paid and needed to come right now to retrieve our belongings or pay for the room. I explained we booked and paid through Expedia, but she wouldn't stop yelling at me. We were moving my mom into an assisted living facility and could not leave to clear this up. I called her back, very angry by this time, with my confirmation # and let her know the money had already been withdrawn from my bank account. She said she found it but when we returned after moving all day the lock on our door had been changed. Terrible customer service from the owner, other staff was very friendly. The room was nice and the price was good. .

Terrible

Posted Apr 14, 2015
This place was terrible. I showed up with 2 children and I almost cried. Not in a good part of town. The bedding was stained with hairs on it and multiple cigarette holes. They had tried to spray paint over graffiti on the inside of the elevator. I could feel the springs of the bed all night. The morning manager was extremely loud and rude to her staff and us. Would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone!
