Decent hotel for the price.

Cons: Please fix the ice machines. Both were out of order.
We were disappointed that there was no ice available, but overall we had a nice stay.

not worth the $100 per night

Posted Jul 21, 2014
Pros: air conditioner worked and was quiet :)
Cons: small things-- attention to simple detail, like fixing the curtain rod, wallpaper, etc. Change those nasty towels!
Location: Had to drive to get anywhere
Second time I had to stay there; hot tub not working yet again (and same time of year). towels were sandpaper. no vent in bathroom so entire room would get more humid; shower curtain rod was broken, wallpaper peeling. on the plus side, the staff let our team use the breakfast room for our take out dinners; bed and linens comfortable but not pillows. Nice to have fridge, microwave and coffee maker and hair dryer. Ceilings are quite thin; I'd stay on the top floor if you are a light sleeper.

Cons: There were a lot of things broken. Exercise room, ice machine, hot tub...
Location: The location was good for us, because we were attending a wedding nearby.
Overall we had a good experience. The people were very friendly we dealt with.

Location: a few miles from downtown but the price reflects that. reasonable distance from the airport.
mostly decent, fairly clean...good for the $100 we paid but no more. beds were alright, pillows were strangely small... room was basically good, AC worked well. we swam in the pool which was in pretty good shape, couldn't tell if it was chlorinated but looked to be clean and in good shape. spa was broken and had a nasty greasy film over the surface of the water. they had a sign on it but they should have just drained it. left an uneasy feeling about the pool but still had fun and felt fine swimming in it. staff was kind and responsive. food at the free breakfast was typical with bagels and waffle iron, some fruit, oat meal and cereals. had biscuits and gravy which were kind of mediocre. again, what we expected for the price. juice dispenser had typical bad orange juice, but i've been in more expensive hotels with the same bad OJ.

Guest House

Posted Jul 12, 2014
Pros: internet
Cons: rooms are getting a little dated and run down
Location: right in the heart of ne Gresham and close to the airport without having to deal with the airport traffic
I stayed at the Guest House Hotel for a week on business and found it to be a great place to stay for the money, not only did it have an indoor pool sauna and hot tub, I rely on good internet to trade and found that their high speed was just that and stable

Cheap hotel - avoid if you can

Posted Jul 6, 2014
Pros: It was cheap
Cons: Everything
If you need a budget option for just one night or so - then consider this place, otherwise avoid it. It's old and in bad condition. My room had loose planks of wood and the carpet smells like some animal died (throughout the hotel). There were bugs in the bathroom. Room cardkey didn't work the first time - had to go downstairs and get a new one. Bed was neat - but pillows were like cannon balls. Management was terrible - when I went to check out the lady was on the phone and looked as though I was inconveniencing the hell out of her. When I asked her why I needed to swipe my card a second time and sign a bunch of papers all over again (I'd done this while checking in) - she was very rude and said I just had to. When I asked if she was sure she wasn't double charging me - she basically started shouting and pushed a receipt on my face and then just walked away talking on her phone - not even bothering to listen.

Pros: A nice big room with a couch and two beds.

Frequent choice

Posted Jul 1, 2014
I've stayed at this hotel five times. I've never had a bad experience. It's a great value hotel. Worth what you pay. This time, my experience was a bit different. Our room was worse for wear with peeling wallpaper. The wifi signal didn't reach our room. I had the feeling that our room was not a room they booked often. Since the hotel was full they had no choice but to use it. Every other time, I've been very happy with the value of this hotel and it's staff. Maybe it was just a one off.

Not great of neighborhood.

Posted Jun 30, 2014
There was too much activity going on outside of the building we could see from our room. It did not feel like a safe neighborhood and I wouldn't have anyone of my family stay there.
