Close to places we were visitingPosted Aug 12, 2013 on Hotels.com
Our stay was amazing. The hotel smelled great every time we walked in. Our room and the hotel were nice and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast included hot breakfast choices which I haven't seen in our hotels we've stayed in. The beds were quite comfortable allowing us to have a great night's rest. We will be staying at Hampton Inn hotels on all of our future vacations. Everything was perfect!

Good Centralized AreaPosted Aug 6, 2013 on Hotels.com
We loved the cleanliness and wonderful smell as we arrived. Breakfast had an above average variety, though the eggs and sausage tasted bland and like powder. Nevertheless, better than average. We would stay there again.

Close enough to attractions...away from the sand!Posted Aug 2, 2013
Pros: Location, rate, well kept
Cons: Maybe an expanded breakfast, the room AC seemed like it could barely keep up with the 100 degree heat and high humidity.
Location: Corpus Christi has the Texas State Aquarium and USS Lexington, both I recommend visiting. Port Aransas is 10 min away plus the ferry ride.
I prefer Hampton Inn's and this one was on-par with any other I've stayed at. I chose the Portland location because my trip to the coast was partly in Port Aransas and partly Corpus. It was nice to stay in a place that was AWAY from the sand because the stuff literally sticks to you and gets everywhere. Location was great with easy access and many amenities nearby including grocery and shopping. Room was quiet.

Great trip!Posted Jul 30, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel staff was very helpful and courteous. They took care of any extra requests we had with no hesitation. The breakfast buffet had tons of delicious food. The hotel was situated just across the bay from Corpus Christi, allowing for a quieter setting but close enough to drive to the city for entertainment. I recommend the hotel gladly.
