“Definitely recommend!”

This hotel is new, so everything was clean and sparkling. The fitness room is well equipped, breakfast was great - not just cereal! All the staff were very nice and very helpful. Room was comfortable - nice big shower and big bed. We ended up parking in the ocean gateway garage just up the street for $25 rather than parking at the hotel for more $$. Regardless- it's close (walking distance) to everything in the Old Port and we had a great weekend!

“Classy stay.”

This is a lovely hotel in the Old Port section of Portland. The room was stylish and perfectly. There was a big flat screen RV, good wireless internet, very comfy desk chair, great twin beds, a huge window with a single gorgeous shade that retracted vertically, a powerful shower, beautifully tiled entry alcove to the room, nicely muted browns and golds and tasteful abstract art decorated the room. The hotel has a boutique stylishness to it, both open and sophisticated. The business center was first class, amazingly accessible, actually had basic office supplies like a stapler. The staff was excrptionally helpful, even comped my taxi when the shuttle didn't stop at the airport. There is a great coastal koghing trail a block away, as well Portland's famous coffee culture. Stay here.

“Portland Furthur”

The hotel was very nice and clean. It actually had queen size beds. Right next to old town Portland and within easy walking distance to the Cumberland County Civic Center where we caught a hot Furthur concert. The only down side was the $15.00 a day parking fee which would add up if you had an extended stay. If ever in Portland again we will stay there.

“wonderful service and good value”

Location is good, just a block from the waterfront and a comfortable stroll from Portland's tourist area. Staff were amongst the most welcoming and helpful I have experienced on four continents - they could not have done more to facilitate our stay. Very clean, well supplied with good quality furnishings in a very pleasing but restrained, contemporary style. Could not have been more pleased with the experience.

“thumbs up”

Brand new, great location, well run. Nice brewpub with direct access on the first floor. My only quibble is that they charge $15 a night to park. This might be posted somewhere but I didn't see it.

“Clean, comfortable, brightly lit, filtered air”

Great place to stay. Very clean and comfortable. Very "businessy" seeming though, and lighting and cleanliness almost to hospital grade approaching sterile at times. Breakfast food was not that great. Highly processed stuff and fruit not very fresh.

“comfortable and convenient”

Convenient to walking around downtown Portland and all the shopping and dining. The hotel staff were very good, prompt and pleasant. The only drawback was our room overlooked all the roof vents/fans to the building, so I wasn't interested in opening the curtain. Since we weren't there for the view from the room, but for the proximity to downtown, it didn't matter too much.
