Comfortable, mid-priced hotel in the Old PortPosted Feb 18, 2014
Pros: The location
Cons: The free breakfast is not very appealing. But Portland has great places to go out for breakfast.
Location: Great shopping and dining in the Old Port
This hotel met all our needs. We would stay here again for sure. The location is perfect.

Great location, walking distance to everything.Posted Feb 18, 2014
Pros: The brewery that was attached.
Cons: Pool should be heated.
Location: Fore Street & Commercial Street are walking distance and everything you want to do in Portland is on one of those streets.
Valet employees were the friendliest employees at the hotel. Everyone else seemed moderately annoyed. Pool was freezing cold. Whenever the heat kicked on it sounded like a nuclear war. Breakfast was somewhat of a free for all, with not enough chairs and tables to accommodate.

Nice hotel, convenient to Olde Port area.Posted Jan 26, 2014
Went for an evening of dining and trying Portland craft beer scene. Accommodations were comfortable and very convenient. We were able to walk to all the places we wanted to visit. Sebago Brewing Company located in the hotel building was a great starting place. Full breakfast buffet in the morning was an additional plus after a late night out.

Very clean, comfortable hotel; good breakfastPosted Jan 26, 2014
Hotel is very centrally located ... We were in close proximity to lots of shops and great restaurants and walked daily to dinner. We stayed in a waterfront room. You're not right on the water but do have a water view. The staff, from front desk, to breakfast staff, to valet were all very friendly and helpful. Hotel was very clean....from lobby, to rooms, to fitness center. Fitness room has all the equipment you could need for a great workout. Breakfast offers good variety and is very covenient. We loved the all-day coffee/cocoa bar. We'd definitely stay again!

Location: There's plenty to do in Portland, ME.
We stayed at the Hampton because it was close to my daughter's college. We've stayed here before and will stay here again.

Great location, large room, great staffPosted Jan 11, 2014
Within walking distance to town and waterfront. Fod and nightlife are important to me. All very close. They provided me with a complimentary shuttle to the bus station, which I wished I'd known upon arrival to the station. Pool looked nice. Comfortable and clean. Would stay again.
