Our ExperiencePosted Dec 15, 2014
Pros: the above
Cons: overhead someone say the pool was cold-I didn't use it but would want it to be warm
Me and 4 girlfriends were doing a over night for shopping in area-hotel very clean and tastefully decorated. Valet was very helpful and check in was easy. We enjoyed dinner at Sebago Brewing Co. Beds were extra comfortable. We also enjoyed the yummy breakfast-helpers were extra friendly. We will definitely be returning in the future

Highly Recommend the Hampton Inn for those traveling to Portland. It was well situated to downtown for shopping, restaurants and local drinking establishments.

Excellent! Room was big & clean. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Free breakfast was good, with many food options. Location was within easy walking distance of everything I wanted to see. This hotel did not fall short in any category.

Great hotel close to everythingPosted Dec 6, 2014
We were really pleased with our visit to this Hampton Inn. Every encounter we had with the hotel staff was extremely pleasant. Our room was clean and very spacious. Breakfast was fantastic. There was a good variety and it all was very tasty. The location was awesome. It was a short walk to all the stores and even our 2 young children were fine with the walk. We can't wait to stay here again!

Had a perfect experience from start to finish! The room was wonderful, breakfast was great and the bonus is that Sebago Brewing Co. is in the building.

Very nice staff, clean rooms, good locationPosted Nov 17, 2014
We were generally pleased with our stay. For a budget hotel, it was very clean and modern, and the location is fairly good -- a few blocks away from the bars on Fore, and a few steps to Duck Fat and Eventide. The staff was generally very friendly. Note though, there is an extra charge for parking overnight, a little less than $20 per day.

Great locationPosted Nov 10, 2014
Pros: The staff were terrific and eager to help. Gail always welcomed you to breakfast with a smile!
Cons: Rolling charge for the parking - weekends fine, midweek a bit rough - $15
Location: Restaurants, shipyard brewery, eastern promenade, old port,
Family of 5 - 3 kids- 8,8,10 yrs of age. The breakfast and the pool were the hit for them. No hot tub but they used the shower as their warm-up spot. Only a few 100 yards from Old Port - and on same block with two popular restaurants, Eventide and DuckFat. First Friday of each month is "open house" night for museums and art galleries. Very well done- love the hotel and the city!

Great locationPosted Nov 7, 2014
Pros: Everything was easy from check in to check out. The breakfast room was comfortable and the food choices were great .
There was nothing to complain about, and that for me is the sign of a well run hotel. Rooms are clean, comfortable, and well designed. It's at the edge of the Old Port and very convenient to downtown Portland and the island ferry. Every
