Best value, great hotelPosted Aug 12, 2014
Pros: I liked the location, the quietness, but above all the kindness of the staff.
Cons: The A/C in the room was pretty noisy but was working properly.
Location: Downtown Portland is 30 minutes drive from the hotel. The Zoo and Japanese garden are 15 minutes drive and they're worth visiting.
This is the best value and the best quality of service I've had in a long time! The premises look great (the decor is modern and stylish). you can have breakfast on the patio or have a drink in the evening and it's lovely. The staff is one of the most helpful, nice and welcoming hotel staff I've seen in years. The location is perfect (30 minutes drive from Downtown Portland, 15 minutes from the zoo). The room and sleeping conditions were perfect. There is a microwave in the room, which is convenient to warm up drinks or make some quick dishes without having to go out and buy dinner. The hotel offers a few dishes to buy, which is most helpful. A wonderful surprise and again the best value you can get at this price. Will definitely return and book from now on only with Hilton Inn Garden hotels.

Super noisy room.Posted Aug 12, 2014
The room we stayed in (222) was right on top of a major ventilation shaft and its outlet was right outside our window. The result: an endless loud low pitched rumble that dominated the room and that went on throughout the night. I did not sleep well. This hotel will never see me again.

Nice stayPosted Jun 12, 2014
Pros: Close to restaurants.
Cons: I would have liked to see a simple swing set or slide nearby.
Location: Surrounded by other hotels and large businesses.
Nice hotel near family for a quick visit. Probably a great hotel for corporate business people due to its location, printing facility. However, we had our young toddler with us and not exactly in a in a kid friendly area.

Nice hotel, friendly, helpful staff.Posted May 29, 2014
Pros: Convenience of restaurant? bar, although limited, it's enough to "get by".
Cons: Better trained restaurant / bar personnel.
Location: Location close to freeway and Beaverton/ Hillsboro area.
Stayed 4 nights. comfortable room, except for afternoon sun "cooking" the temperature of the room, forcing the air conditioner to run into the night for comfort. The bar gave decent pours of beverages, the restaurant menu is limited and fair. The flank steak and salad is a winner. breakfasts on the pricey side, but you won't leave hungry. staff very friendly, somewhat "new" in their roles, lots of cross-training of staff. (Not enough trained staff to go around?) We would stay at this hotel again.

Pros: The staff was very helpful, knowledgeable and right there with anything we needed.
Cons: The elevators could use updating. The pool is rather small.
This hotel was perfect for a wedding at the Zoo or the Forestry Center, as it was halfway between the center and the Tanasbourne shopping area. This made it very convenient for those last minute emergencies! The pool area is rather small, and since we had 6 teenage cousins in the pool every chance they got, it was loud and crowded... The elevators were old and slow. During checkout time on Sunday one of them was under what seemed like a cosmetic repair - that scheduling seemed a bit silly, as they were even more crowded and slow. Overall, the hotel served its purpose and was very comfortable and clean. The staff was awesome!

Gem tucked away in Beaverton/Hillsboro areaPosted Apr 19, 2014 on Hotels.com
Aside from the map app on our phone not understanding where the driveway was (a great ride in itself), this was a great place close to the highway. This is more of a business/corporate hotel, but it suited our needs just fine. The king bed was on the firm side -- not good for my side-sleeping habits, but rearranging the nice soft pillows provided some relief. Good little 4-foot deep saline pool to relax in. Not meant for hardcore Olympic-level swimmers. Nice spa too, also saline. Being a business hotel, they had complimentary coffee/tea in the lobby 24/7, so grabbing a hot decaf for the early evening chill was lovely. Great local restaurants nearby (within a highway exit in either direction).

Perfect for our needs!Posted Apr 16, 2014 on Hotels.com
The location was ideal for a taste of Portland after a 2 week coastal driving vacation. The staff was accommodating. Gave us good directions to make the most of our weekend. Convenient to airport. The room was comfortable and modern. The snacks provided were yummie and tasted home made. The Guest laundry area was a nice bonus.
