Convenient to event at Ester Short park

Was in town for a workshop at the winery across the street. The staff was amazing and very helpful. The food at Gray's was excellent. Highly recommend this place if you're staying in the area. There was a bit of an odor in the air from the port and refineries I assume. Reminded me of El Segundo or San Pedro.

No free wifi or breakfast Staff should have booked through Hilton website then would have got those things?

Last minute, late night!

Pros: The location and proximity to the I5 freeway.
Cons: Nothing lacking in our stay.
Location: Our stay was a single night with a late check-in, therefore we were not exploring things to do.
I placed my reservation for 4 guests on the day of our stay due to changes in our travel plans. The telephone representative was very thorough and accommodating when I requested an extra cot. Upon our late night arrival the gentleman at the desk was gracious, friendly and efficient. There was no difficulty in checking in. The room was clean and the cot had been rolled in and was ready for us. The location of the hotel afforded easy access to I5 North. We were very pleased with our stay, albeit it was only for a single night. We will certainly be happy to recommend the Expedia to others in the future. VC - Denver, Colorado 8/2014

Staff was great, but bed was broken & other items

Pros: Staff was super helpful.
Cons: Preparing the Overflow or Parlor rooms for guests ahead of time and making sure that facilities are in working order, such as the bed.
I appreciated the staff's helpfulness and friendliness in accommodating me through the whole process - from not being able to find the reservation in their system to bringing me blankets, pillows and a new working remote to moving us to a separate room altogether. The staff compensated me by giving us free internet access to free parking, which helped a little with the facilities not being completely prepared for guests. The room did not have blankets, pillows and a working remote for the TV. Also, the bed was not made beforehand. Though this was an "overflow" room that they called the Parlour, the moment that they knew a guest was going to be staying, they needed to be sure that it was completely ready for a guest, rather than sending us up there and having us find out. The worst part was the broken bed which we found out by looking underneath the sofa bed we were sleeping on. We had to move in the middle of the night. To sum, the front desk and security staff were excellent, but the preparation and safety checks were not completed inside the rooms.

Pros: Clean comfortable great views, clean very nice staff.
Very nice downtown Hotel easy to find. Great Tie Food resteraunt accross the street. Felt safe and was top notch hotel.

Didn't like having to pay extra for parking, but I understand. Next time I will stay at a comfort suites as they have the same room (basically) and you get a nice breakfast with coffee included.

Pros: Clean, newer, next to Esther Short Park and close to I-5
Location: Close to I-5, next to Esther Short Park, this are of Vancouver has been updated and it is nice.
Clean, newer, professional staff, and close to I-5. This is a Hilton, not a Hampton, so you can expect Hilton amenities.

Nice hotel and staff next to Columbia River.

Pros: Clean, convenient to downtown and Portland.
Location: Great park across the street along with being in walking distance to restaurants lining the Columbia River.
The staff and service were excellent. Really enjoyed our stay.

Great place just outside Portland

This was a great hotel just outside of Portland. We flew in late at night and arrived at the hotel around 1am. The staff was wonderful and we got settled in quite quickly! The room was nice and it was very close to Portland. We had a wonderful stay!

Pros: cleanliness, nice decorating. Easy to get to. Quiet rooms.
Cons: They should indicate parking is not included in the cost of the hotel.
It was a really nice hotel, easy to get to, great restaurant on site. I wish they had told me ahead that parking was not included in the cost.
