Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Portland-Jantzen Beach

Our room was clean & quiet. The hotel is large & spread out which is nice. Everything was pretty new. Beds were comfy. NO Bed bugs(We checked first before taking the luggage in). We didn't use the pool, but it was nice looking in there & right by the front desk. The complimentary Breakfast was one of the best I've had at hotels. It was in a Very Nice area and close to shopping. Everything we needed was right there on Janzen Beach drive which meant we didn't have to GPS our way around to find a toothbrush for my daughter or Starbucks for us. Will Definantly book there again when we go to Portland & tell our friends about it !

This hotel was clean, which to me, is the MOST important thing. It looks like it is well maintained. Our room was nice and quiet, but don't expect a view, it is in the middle of a business area. We will stay there again when we are in the Vancouver, WA/Portland area.

The staff were friendly and professional, room was large, clean and comfortable. We travel to Portland 2-3 times a year, and this was by far the best Hotel we have stayed in. I would recommend this Hotel as it was not only reasonable, it far exceeded the value for price index, and we plan on using this hotel again.

Our room was very clean, comfortable bedding, bathroom was clean and well equipped. The room looked very inviting to our eyes. We had very pleasant exchanges with the hotel staff. We had an excellent stay!

Area looked a bit sketchy at first but everything worked out. Breakfast was great, well stocked with bacon, scrambled eggs, danishes, bagels, muffins, cereal, yogurt, milk, tea, juices and a few more items I forgot. Staff was friendly. No complaints here.

We started out relying on the interstate signs to direct us, but quickly got lost once we exited the freeway. GPS got us back on track. The hotel is easy to get to (behind Target), but you can only access Jantzen Beach / Hayden Island by taking I-5: if there is a bridge lift, or afternoon gridlock, it affects how quickly or how easily you can get to and from Portland and Vancouver. The hotel is like most HIs - sauna and pool, nice clean rooms, pull-out sofas, free wifi, continental breakfast, etc.

Great! Pool,jacuzzi, and a sauna. The suite was spacious and beds were good, not great.
