Nice, clean. A little noisy.
Posted Jan 28, 2012
Everything was acceptable and clean. We had a room next to the outside entrance and could hear people and the door open and close anytime anyone came in. We like this hotel because we can put our kids to bed with a bedroom door that closes, however there isn't a door between the bathroom sink and the bedroom.

Comfortable and mostly clean
Posted Jan 6, 2012 on Hotels.com
We chose a King 1 bedroom suite as we have a toddler and preschooler so needed a seperate sleeping area for the preschooler. The room was spacious enough to suit our needs and as I stated in the title, comfortable and MOSTLY clean. I say mostly because they either need to invest in better vacuum cleaners or use what they have more often. The carpet had more hair than I am comfortable seeing in a hotel room (I'm a little picky I guess as I don't want to see any). Also it was evident they weren't being vacuumed while we were gone from the room most days as our kids can make quite a mess at the table and it was still there when we returned. On to the positive, aside from the vacuuming everything else was neat and tidy. The bed was reasonably comfortable however we stayed in the Homewood suites in Medford on our way home and theirs was MUCH more comfortable. The full breakfast was a huge bonus and SO helpful for our family as my husband could go get it and return to our room with a balanced meal for our children and us to start our day. We did not take advantage of the Mon-Thurs dinner, but liked that we could if needed. All in all, I would return again.

Very quiet in the room, thumbs up!

Pros: Quietness
Cons: Nearby train tracks, but the sound didn't keep us awake. You might be able to ask for a room away from the trains.
Location: Near other hotels, train, restaurants within 1 block. Not bad area, nothing really interesting there, but within easy driving distance of attractions.
My husband and I requested a top floor (3rd) room so that we wouldn't hear people walking through the ceiling all night, which they were able to accommodate for us. It was quiet as a mouse, very comfortable. Couldn't hear people in our hallway, next door, downstairs, etc. Breakfast was very decent. Easy parking. I would definitely go back.

Loved the Discovery Trail within walking distance.

Loved the walking Discovery Trail next to the river & over the land bridge to Vancouver Fort. To bad the front desk did not have a map. They can Download a PDF from the local parks and have it available to the guests. The bed was comfortable, breakfast great & staff friendly always. I want to come back.

Less than desireable stay
Posted Jan 19, 2011 on Hotels.com
We noticed that the room smelled dirty, like dirty carpet or like animals had urinated in the room at some time. There were a couple of barking dogs that were left unattended by their owners in the next room. They barked for a long time and could be heard through the walls. We complained via phone to the front desk and was told that she would call their room but that animals were allowed to stay in the rooms.. I had wanted to use the extra blanket that was stored in the closet. It had been put into a zippered plastic storage bag either when it was hot from the dryer or before it was completely dry and this caused condensation to form in the bag. The end result was a very wet unusable blanket that smelled musty. I think the overall experience was not what I expected and I would hesitate to stay there again.
