Overpriced for Motel 6 qualityPosted Jul 31, 2015
The "upgraded" king room was smaller than a standard king room at any normal hotel. I spent $400 for one night at what I thought was a nice, well-decored hotel. While the furniture was cool and it had a classy vibe, it was a disaster for the price. There was only a foot between the bathroom door and bed on one side and on the other, only maybe 4 feet to the wall where you could lay your suitcase. We called and ask if this was their "upgraded" king, and we were moved up a few floors and added maybe 3 feet extra. But the new room was worse: The water took 20 minutes to get hot. The drain was clogged and I took a shower in ankle deep water. The AC was broken on a 100-degree day in Portland. When we called for help in the night, they said they had no maintenance staff available and offered a fan. The towels were rough and small. Overall, it was a total disappointment. If I wanted to stay at Motel 6, I would've. However, when we left they did offer to comp our $40 valet--oh, joy! What an offer!!

Nice hotel in downtown PortlandPosted Jul 28, 2015
Friendly staff, free valet parking, and walking distance to lots of shopping and breweries. Nice hotel, however, we found a previous guests pajamas in a drawer, which made me feel as though the room wasn't thoroughly cleaned.

Great LocationPosted Jul 26, 2015
Pros: The best thing about this hotel is the location!
Cons: The only downside is that it was a little noisy, but that's not the fault of the hotel.
The hotel is located in a perfect spot to see all of Portland. It's close to bus and train lines (which are incredibly easy to take) and walkable to many parts of the city. It's clean, the people are friendly, and has everything you'll need.

Great hotel right in the middle of downtown Portland. The only issue we had was with the bathtub drain being semi-clogged. I'm not sure if it was functionally checked before the room was released for the next customer. If this could just be reviewed for next time, that would be great. Otherwise, again, a great hotel experience. Thanks!

Great locationPosted Jun 17, 2015
Pros: Clean, great location - convenient
Cons: Trash day early Friday morning (or construction) was pretty loud on Stark Street - woke us up before 7:00am. Ask for a room not facing Stark St.
Location: Walked to a lot of great restaurants, bars and shopping
Hotel is in a great location in Downtown Portland. Imperial Restaurant next door has delicious food, Portland Penny Diner is a great place to get drinks and unwind after a long day of walking.

Right in Front of June "Rose Parade" ItineraryPosted Jun 10, 2015
Pros: The staff, the location., the great bed
Location: The very best
Truly, a great place, for me, and, very likely, for many, many others who have chosen the Lucia, for a first time. Right downtown, a three-minute walk from Pioneer Square, the heart & soul of the eminently likeable and safe city of Portland, OR. Extremely polite (Mr....), and cordial welcome, with the most professional and dedicated staff looking after you and, even, the shadow of you. As well, hotel proud to supply specific details about her most comfortable amenities, I can think of, right by bed-side table. Hotel also well complemented by adjacent and savoury Imperial Restaurant. Social, ecclectic and great food. Really, dare to tell me, what more do you want; what else do you need?

Great locationPosted Jun 8, 2015
Location is great, walking distance to everything. The rooms are very small but nicely decorated. Had trouble with our hot water so they moved us to another room right away which was nice. Hotel lobby is being remodeled so it's a little rough right now.

Lobby was under construction, which was manageable but I should have been warned prior to booking. Bathroom was microscopic. Sink was so small I couldn't wash my face without soaking the entire room.
