“Love the Hotel Modera”
The Hotel Modera is comfortable, clean and just cool to stay in. The front desk staff were super helpful with anything we asked, and we love the decor. The only thing that was an unpleasant surprise was the hefty parking charge, so brace yourself for that.
“Very impressed. Excellent value hotel”
Excellent front desk attendants! Clean pleasant and comfortable rooms. Centrally located hotel with a very pleasant oudoor restaurant. The hotel rates are reasonable priced. I would really recomend it.
“nice hotel, however rooms on the smallish size”
Good hotel, nice amenities, great restaurant, many other things too. Rooms are smallish, but well appointed.
“very comfortable beds slept well”
the staff was extremely helpful with telling me about the city and getting me a cab in the morning.
“anniversary trip”
Great weather in November. Hotel was very clean. Our room was adjacent to the elevator so the noise was consistent.
“Can't wait to go back.”
Very nice hotel with a modern theme. The hotel staff were informative and helpful for whatever questions we had. Parking was a little expensive, but with in and out priveleges and not getting wet I guess then it's not too bad. The gym at 24 hour Fitness was a nice perk. If we were to go back to Portland we'd book again at "Hotel Modera".
“Just OK”
Please see my review below. I put it under the "Expedia Experience"
“nice modern hotel”
Hotel Modera is a very nice modern hotel. Room was very clean (although a bit small), staff was friendly, and location can't be beat. Only cons were street noise (my room was at the end of a hall overlooking an intersection), a ridiculously heavy sliding bathroom door which made entering and leaving the bathroom cumbersome at best (I keep the door closed for feng shui reasons), and $27 per night parking fee (which seems to be the going rate for area hotels). I definitely would stay there again.
“Cozy”
Love that you can sit outside by the fire, and have a nice glass of wine. We enjoyed our stay.
“Nice rooms at a good price”
The downtown location was fairly convenient to anything we did. The hotel seemed as if it were new or newly renovated -- the rooms were clean and well maintained. The staff was very courteous and friendly. The rooms were small and basic, but the bed was comfortable and the necessary amenities were all available. Our only issue was that the Central Air seemed fixed at one temperature so the room could get stuffy. Would stay here again.
