Very nice.

Close to everything I needed to get to while I was staying in Portland. It's in more of the corporate part of town so if youre looking for boutique style shopping you only need to drive 15 mins down the road and you will be there. Very cool and clean hotel.

Tiny Rooms

Posted Jun 27, 2015
Pros: Central downtown location- valet service was OK.
Cons: Bigger, upgraded, quieter rooms and better trained staff
Location: Downtown location was fairly convenient to restaurants, and river front.
Hotel badly needs updating. Room was extremely small and not well appointed. Bathtub was fiberglass and flexed up and down when you moved. No hot water for bathroom sink. Staff was apathetic and uncaring. Unbelievable and continuous HVAC noise. No way to get rest -will never go back again.

Great for young hipsters

Posted Jun 26, 2015
Cons: Remind the staff that people over the age of 40 travel and like to stay in nice hotels.
Location: Lots going on--10 minute walk from Portland City Center, Pearl, and other great neighborhoods. Transit is easy to navigate and stops nearby.
I'm middle-aged--definitely not the young hipster type the staff clearly prefers. That said, the location is convenient, the rooms small but nicely done, and the staff (once they recovered from seeing my salt-and-pepper hair) were professional and courteous. Great location.

Hübsches Hotel in einer überraschend schönen Stadt

Posted Jun 26, 2015

Handy location and decent sized rooms.

Posted Jun 26, 2015
Pros: The restaurant and bar attached to the hotel was exceptional. Food was great as was the table service.
Cons: Service at front desk.
Location: Easy walking distance to CBD.
Good location in walking distance to the CBD. Rooms were well equipped and spotless. The hotel had just undergone refurbishment - work was still progressing on the check in desk area. Rooms had a modern feel. Front desk staff were efficient though not overly friendly.

Noisy

Posted Jun 22, 2015
The room was comfortable as expected. But it was facing the restaurant patio and it was noisy. Also, the room was not far from the elevator and mechanical noises could be heard when elevator went up and down.

Good hotel. A little pricey.

Posted Jun 22, 2015
Pros: Nice decor, minimalist. Restaurant was really good, nice bar. Loved the staff.
Cons: The air conditioner was malfunctioning, on and off every one to two minutes. Not much sleep. At 3:00 AM, an alarm sounded in the room/hall - ahh!
Location: Close to Portland State. 15 min. walk to Pearl District and it is right on public transportation routes. Close to river and weekend market.
Staff were really exceptional. From the people at the front desk to the restaurant staff. Very professional and helpful and personable. I would make sure their air conditioning/heating system is functioning if you make a booking. I found the price a little steep for this hotel, but I also booked last minute so maybe the price was inflated. The bed was really comfortable. The bathroom was well lit. (A small thing, but not if you apply make up!) Our room was small but tasteful and clean. I like that you can opt for no daily cleaning and receive $5 off per night.

Nice hotel, good location

Posted Jun 19, 2015
First time at this hotel and I was pleasantly surprised. It cost a little more than what I usually pay when in Pirtland but my usual hotels were all sold out. However, this was a great find albeit a bit pricey. The hotel staff is very courteous and friendly. The hotel is very clean, quiet and has a frat restaurant and bar downstairs with additional seating in a very nice courtyard. Great location, easy walk to restaurants and shops. No gym I property but they have a deal with 24 hour fitness a block away. overall if you're willing to pay a little more I highly recommend.
