I was very impressed by the hotel's rooms, friendly staff, and variety of free breakfast offerings. The room was very well appointed with a quality bed, nice furniture and clean bathrooms. I would highly recommend the motel and plan to stay there again in the future. The hotel is located two miles south of the 295 exit just south of the
huge Wooden Indian at moccasin outlet store. Although the motel is probably 3 or 4 miles south of LL Bean and downtown Freeport, it is easy to reach these attractions in a few minutes further north on US 1.

We recently took a family vacation to New England and stayed at the Lighthouse Inn. Our room was carefully prepared for our arrival. The hotel staff placed a rollaway bed in our room for one of our children before we arrived without our needing to request it. There were just the right amount of towels, shampoo bottles, and soaps for each guest in our room, with starlight mint candy for each guest.

first of all, try finding as hotel room in portland maine. they are rare. i booked a room at the regency specifically for a tub because i was exhausted from a long period of overtime work with no breaks and sometimes you just need to soak and get drunk in portland. so i did. and it was awesome and they provided terrycloth bathrobes, too, just like the olden days when hotels cared. the staff was helpful with all my requests, there was turndown service with chocolates (waaaat?!!?!? this ain't no knight's inn!) the valet parking was prompt and helpful with various inquiries for directions and he cleaned all the snow off my car. next time i stay there there i plan to take advantage of the spa aspect and get a massage or six. y'know, for research purposes.
oh, and she pretty, too!

very quaint, owner was extremely helpful and nice, rooms are clean and comfy. I LOVE Kennebunkport! Lived here when I was a little girl and it's just how I remember it. This motel is very close to town and I recommend it. Breakfast in the lobby was perfect, just what I needed to start my day!

The Nomantum hotel was just a beautiful experience. My husband and I had stayed here previously and it was a bit tired. The hotel has undergone an extensive renovation and it is the perfect getaway! Everything was perfect - the staff, rooms, view and location. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to couples for a romantic getaway or families - the hotel offers activities for all ages.

Little confusing that the hot tub was not in the same place as the pool. My "poolside room" wasn't exactly poolside. Room was good. Toiletries were from Bath & Body Works - nice touch. Refrigerator, coffee maker, hair dryer. Everything was nice and the bed was very comfortable. The pillows could be nicer - they were pretty flat.
