when I checked in I was told that the bill was paid but had to run the card so I let them run the card and signed the slip. Later I seen that they charged another 25.00 for what I don't know

Cute hotel in nice neighborhood

Posted Jan 14, 2015
Pros: Convenience and atomospher
My daughter and I were on business/mini-vacation together. We both liked atomospher of the hotel. Conveniently located in good neighborhood. Some nice shops and restaurants are nearby. Parking, Internet connection and streetcar tickets are provided free. Breakfast was adequate. Easy parking access.

modern hotel, great location

Posted Dec 17, 2014
I had been recommended this hotel from a friend. Saw a deal on expedia and decided to try it out. Loved it from the moment we walked in the door. Very modern, clean. Room was spacious and a suite to boot. I wasn't expecting that but fully stocked with all cooking equipment you would need although I don't know of anyone who would visit Portland and cook dinner in a hotel room with all the incredible dining options there are. Nice big king bed, super comfy with lots of pillows. Bonus for a 7 month pregnant lady! Sitting area was nice and comfortable as well. 2 flat screen TVs which I thought was a bit excessive, but nice none the less. Breakfast is included but as a celiac, this left much to be desired. Lots of bagels, muffins, etc. Huge glass containers of starbursts and taffy throughout and as much coffee available at all times of day you desire. Oh, and a Kurieg in the room. Location is great, walkable to 23rd which has great shops. Also close to Salt and Straw! Overall, a great place to stay!

Great location. Friendly staff. Enjoyed our stay for two days. The kitchen would have been very handy if we had stayed longer.

Great accomodations

Posted Nov 24, 2014
My stay with this hotel was fantastic! The staff was excellent and very helpful. The breakfast each morning was great. The only downsides I found was no gym facilities on site and it was a bit far from downtown (I had many meetings downtown, but was only $10 or less of a cab ride away. They also offer 1 free street car pass a day :)). I would recommend this hotel any day of the week! Most likely best for couples who are travelling/touring Portland or individuals with business close by.

Great value, location and choice

Posted Nov 20, 2014
Pros: Almost everything
Cons: Cable tv selection; no movies on the tv system; the walls and flooring are "noisy".
Location: Great location, nice quiet neighborhood, filled with good restaurants and bars
The hotel is located in a nice neighborhood, with good public transportation. The rooms (I had a suite) was huge and the fully equipped kitchen was a nice surprise. I would definitely stay here again.

Easy getaway from Seattle

Posted Nov 19, 2014
My wife and I took the train down from Seattle to watch a blazers game and to do some holiday shopping. We literally walked to the hotel from the station. 23rd Ave has all the boutiques and knick knack shops you could ever want, all within walking district from the hotel. Day or night we always felt really safe in this northwest district. Hotel staff is very accommodating, friendly and made us feel welcome and cared for.

tge best kept secret in Portland OR

Posted Nov 11, 2014
I stay at Inn at Northup Station every time I visit Portland. You cannot match the ambience comfort and location. Adding free parking and a healthy continental breakfast, it is well with it. With in walking to many neighborhood shops and restaurants and a hop on street car right in front I'll take you Powells and downtown location. Well now you have it the secret is out.
