Great location

Posted Jul 27, 2015
Pros: location and staff
Location: right next to convention center and public transport
The front desk staff are great--very, very helpful. The location is excellent; very close to public transport. The room I had was a little noisy, as it overlooked said transport, but it was comfortable, and had been recently renovated. The drapes looked new, the carpet appeared clean, the linens looked fresh. The bathroom is a bit dated, with some mildew stains around the tub and the toilet is behind the door; a little difficult to access. However, the great staff and location make up for the downsides if you're looking for utility vs posh. I'll stay there again.

Nice hotel good location, close to Moda Center

Nice hotel good location, close to Moda Center and convention center. Some traffic noise, helps to leave room fan on low or take earplugs. We would stay there again.

Old hotel but clean and secure

Posted Jul 23, 2015
We stayed there during a brief stay for a concert in town. The hotel is a little rundown but the room was clean and secure. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a more budget accommodation while staying in Portland.

Great value

Convenient in-town location and very spacious room. Great amenities: refrigerator, microwave, tv with lots of channels, plenty of electrical outlets. I had king room. Pillows should be better. Wonderful front desk staff -- very helpful.

No frills but hits the spot on your wallet

Posted Jul 19, 2015
If your looking for a place to stay, sleep, shower, this is no frills and meets the needs no fancy restaurants or luxurious lobby. Portland already has the best places to get eats, why would you go there to eat in a hotel? This place is at a good location for a reasonable price. It's old but it's clean, staff are friendly and the room or decent. Why pay more?

Location: Great place to stay, so close to the convention center
It was very nice of the hotel to allow me to check in much earlier than 3pm.

Great location for a hotel on public transit lines

Posted Jul 12, 2015
Pros: Location and value for money
Cons: The hotel is old and shows its age as the facilities are dated and must be a dilemma for the owneers as it really requires upgrading or pulled down.
Location: Right beside the Convention Centre and close to Lloyd Shopping Mall. Also 10 minutes by rail to CBD
Good and helpful staff, clean rooms and convenient location for public transport access from and to airport and rail network
