Get What You Pay For

Posted Aug 3, 2014
Pros: Nice enough swimming pool and spa, great free breakfast (make your own waffle and hot breakfast that included scrambled eggs and bacon/sausages).
Cons: Not many options via walking distance.
Location: Close to the airport but the sound was not an issue. One restaurant (Shari) within walking distance with a bunch of fast food joints.
Nice hotel with standard features. Unfortunately, had a black out at 10:30 pm at night with my family in the swimming pool. Hotel staff was quick to bring flash lights. Helped hotel staff open elevator door as there were two people stuck inbetween floors. During check out, asked for any concessions for the inconvenience and was told that due to third party reservation (i.e. Expedia) they could not adjust the price but the manager was kind enough to offer a one night free stay in the future (hope it's transferable).

Outdated and lack of features.

Beds were lumpy. Rooms were tiny. Our sink was clogged and would not drain. Took over an hour for Someone to come and look at it. They couldn't fix it, and there were no other rooms so we were stuck without a sink. No one apologized nor were we credited. Will never stay here again.

Worn out!

Posted Jul 25, 2014
Bits of trash left in elevator for three days, dusty surfaces, and towels with hanging threads, are examples of poor staff, management, and corporate leadership. This is an airport hotel and not worth the money except for the vicinity to PDX. Stayed here in the past because it's $10.00 cheaper than rates in the four-star hotels. Ten dollars would be well spent! This place is worn out.

Fine airport hotel

Posted Jul 18, 2014
Pros: Quiet!! Very nice as we needed our sleep! Also very friendly staff.
Location: This is an airport hotel - its really just near the airport and nothing else!!
This is a fairly typical La Quinta experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful and our room was quiet and comfortable. If you need to be at the airport early (or are arriving really late) as we did, this hotel is nice and convenient for a good price and is just what you'd probably expect for a La Quinta.

Pros: Less commercial
Cons: Daily room cleaning
Location: Plan more trees & better land scapes
We did get daily room service. I have to ask for new towels & wash chlothes. The staff was helpful
