Walk to dinner!

Posted Sep 8, 2014
Loved the breakfasts and the staff that served them. Good level of local knowledge and conversation. Enjoyed drinks on the lawn after an afternoon at the beach, a pleasant spot to wait for everyone to freshen up for dinner. Easy stroll to our restaurant for dinner. Priceless!

An exceptional bed and breakfast.

Posted Sep 8, 2014
Pros: Everything was just perfect. The whirlpool and the king size bed were wonderful. The breakfast was awesome.
Cons: Nothing I saw
Location: Just look up kennebunkport. Then you will know.
Nothing is left to chance at this place From checkin to room amenities to gourmet complementary breakfast to the hammock to the beautiful grounds and to the incredible host everything was perfection in action. I am sure this is the best place to stay in kennebunkport.

Cozy Maine Luxury

Posted Jul 30, 2014
It's amazing what can be created inside a 1950's vacation cottage! Judi and Walt pride themselves in having the right luxury suite for every guest. We were an easy walk to dining - a lovely area to stroll. Creative, delicious gourmet breakfast every morning - on the porch, in your room or in the inn. Not too formal but pampered and relaxing. The quietest air conditioning we have ever experienced. Friendly, helpful innkeepers and staff - attending to every detail.

The Best Stay

Posted Jun 29, 2014
Pros: See above.
Cons: Nothing.
Location: Lots of restaurants, hiking, walking around town.
We would stay here again. The room and bath were wonderful. The owners could not have been nicer and very helpful. Anything we asked for was provided. My husband is allergic to feathers; they immediately changed out the pillows. The food was splendid. These people know how to run a Bed and Breakfast; they have been in the business a long time. Everything was spotless. Walter and Judi suggested restaurants, sights, etc. The perfect host and hostess! We loved our stay with them. Friendly, helpful but not intrusive. I have some food allergies and they checked the menu with me each day to make sure I could eat the breakfast that was to be served the next day. If not, they fixed something special for me.

Average Bed & Breakfast in Beautiful Kennebunkport

Posted Jun 10, 2014 on Hotels.com
We were satisfied with our stay but expected more for the money paid. Most of the rooms, including ours, are located in duplex apartments (which kind of look like side by side trailers) off the parking lot behind the main house, which is not what we had hoped for a bed and breakfast experience. The main house is very nice, and that is where you check in/out and have breakfast. The landscaping around the building is very nice. We also enjoyed the complimentary tea/cocoa and homemade whoopie pies at check-in. The lady who helped us check-in and show us to our room was a little too long-winded and was obviously doing everything she could to get a tip. The rooms are obviously old but they have done their best to keep them up to date. Our bed and bedding were wonderful, much better than your typical hotel bed. The location is in a quaint neighborhood only a 5 minute walk from historic downtown shops/restaurants. We would definitely recommend anyone visit Kennebunkport, and although this bed and breakfast was adequate and above average, don't expect too much.
