Very good hotel.Posted Oct 24, 2013
Stayed for one night, the staff and owner very helpful. Only problem we encountered was the town almost closes down from mid October.

Great place to stay!Posted Oct 22, 2013
Pros: Location, cleanliness and price
Cons: The shower lacked a little pressure., but we thought it was probably due to the volume of people showering first thing in the morningl
Location: We were leaf peeping. Most of the attractions were not open, but we did have a great dinner at the Landmark restaurant
The inn is more than I expected. The Inn is tastefully decorated and is absolutely SPOTLESS!. The inn was built in the 1700 and retains the wide hand-hewn floors and beautiful moldings. I would highly recommend this Inn to anyone looking for an alternate to the big hotels.

Good stay.Posted Oct 21, 2013
Pros: Hotel was clean, noise free, and charming. Very helpful staff and a neat house, location, and ease to get in and around the area.
Location: The beach is close but I imagine during peak season it would be fun of kids. Great sites north and south of location.
You need to like Bed & Breakfast types of rooms to enjoy this setting. We loved the charm of the Inn and the location. I would say yes to going back here. If you have kids - might not be your place. Really a great place, easy to get along with staff, and a great location to do a lot of cool stuff up and down the coast.

CharmingPosted Oct 14, 2013 on Hotels.com
I was very pleased with Old Orchard Beach Inn. It was charming and quaint in a small town setting. The Inn was beautifully decorated and very clean. The only negative thing I can say is that an alarm clock in a nearby room went off around 12:30 a.m. and didn't go off until around 2:00 a.m. I don't feel this was the owners fault but it was very annoying. The continental breakfast was nice. I would definitely stay there again.

Excellent stay in a character innPosted Oct 10, 2013
Pros: Very clean and well presented. We loved the character of the inn. Had all the 'mod cons' you could want (except a bar fridge).
Cons: The layout of breakfast and a bar fridge (minor details)
We arrived late evening, but they were expecting us and there was no issue with checking in (we had phoned to let them know we would be late). We had been upgraded from a double room to a queen room. The room was very comfortable and clean. The location was great, although I suspect it would be a bit noisy in the summer when there is more traffic on the road.

Beautiful historic innPosted Oct 9, 2013 on Hotels.com
We very much enjoyed our stay at the OOB Inn. The bed was very comfortable and the plumbing, thankfully, was modern. Despite the inn being full or nearly full the two nights we were there, we had absolutely no trouble with noise either from the other guests or from outside, and we were able to sleep soundly. Kudos also to the owners for providing enough parking spaces. The inn is located just a short walk from the beach, The amusement park and pier seemed to be closed for the season, but a number of other shops were open. The beach is a sand beach, not rocks like so much of Maine's coastline. Breakfast was a sort of continental plus--there were hard-boiled eggs in addition to various baked goods etc. There is a Keurig coffeemaker in the lobby along with an assortment of K-cups and tea bags so you can have a cup of coffee or tea any time, and wonderful treats are placed out in the afternoon and evening. There are two Macintosh apple trees on the property, and we were encouraged to take some apples from a bowl in the lobby or pick our own, as many as we wanted to eat. of the small but juicy and crisp apples. If I have a gripe at all, it that there was very little space for our stuff in the bathroom, as the sink was a pedestal type with no countertop around it. A shelf or two would be very helpful and need not detract from the historic character of the house. Those with physical limitations should also be aware that the stairs are rather steep and shallow.
