“best place i have ever been to in a hotel or other accomodations”

gladstone area next to safeway grocery store and dmv by the river and the freeway

they have a van to take you to where you want to go withinn five miles of the hotel/no charge

“Just skip this hotel unless you are not picky”

The room was okay. Nice bed, decent decor. Bathroom a little small. No pay movies and not much to do nearby. STAY AWAY from the restaurant right near there. yuk. smells of urine. we walked in, and walked out. Drove about 5 minutes down to a nice pub. The halls of the hotel were dirty, as was the elevator. There was what appeared to be a homeless guy coming and going the 3 days we were there...same clothes all three days, etc. he had the run of the place, eating the food, using the computers. I wouldn't stay again. Pay the extra and stay somewhere nicer.

“would go back again”

It was a very nice hotel. however, toilet & shower were not very up to date. There was no fan in the bathroom, which made it very humid after a shower. Needed a new toilet seat. They tightened it once, but it must have been stripped, so it came loose again. I am 75 and somewhat disabled. I was afraid I was going to fall off of it.

“"Excellent Hotel"”

we were visiting friends in Oregon City and this hotel was so convenient, Right off the freeway and easy to find. Rooms were very spacious and clean. We had the esxecutive suite and the seperate bedroom was so awesome. The breakfast buffet was really good with all the hot cooked foods, eggs,waffles, etc included in room rate. The evening reception was good for the free wine but the snacks were just veggies and dip, could have been better. The hot tub was nice and the pool was great too. I would definately stay here again and recommend to anyone. The view of the river from all the rooms was so peaceful. Dont listen to people who say freeway is to noisy you cant even hardly hear it. Safeway next door was nice to for things you might forget.

“Nice place and the price is right”

We've stayed here twice and have been happy both times. It's convenint to the freeway and the free breakfast and evening happy hours are very nice touches.

“Happy”

the only detriment was a little construction happening on our floor and in the lobby, however we couldn't hear it in our room and weren't disturbed by it. Staff was excellent and the hotel extremely clean and comfortable.

“Great Portland place to stay”

If you want a comfortable, clean, convenient place with all the amenities at a reasonable price in the Portland area I would highly recommend Gladstone's Oxford Suites. With your room rental you receive breakfast and a light evening dinner in an ultra clean modern hotel. They have a lovely indoor pool and hot tub. After my stay last weekend I will always book a room at the Oxford Suites when I need a home base for a weekend in Portland.

Area recommendations

Portland and it's surrounding areas offer a variety of activities from shopping to vineyards and everything in between.

“Very Happy!”

We had an overnight stay in Portland area and found the Oxford on Expedia. It was close to the event we were attending so we chose to stay there. The hotel was warm and clean when we arrived. The room was spotless and the accomodations were better than many we have stayed at. I got up too early the next morning so breakfast had not started yet, but they told me to go on in the dining area and have some coffee while the food was being prepared. The food was very good. Overall this was a very positive experience and I would reccomend this hotel to anyone.

“Excellent hospitality at the Oxford”

The staff is so friendly and helpful. The rooms are large and clean with a microwave and fridge. There is a grocery store next door to the hotel which is so convenient.

Area recommendations

Milwaukie is cozy, small and friendly.
